Automatically Resume Update not working for Descent patch?

So.. I have been trying to download Descent for pretty much the last week, however before the patch fully downloads its 10 hour update or whatever something has always happened to interrupt this. Twice, Windows restarted my laptop for whatever reason even though I postponed the update; another time the battery ran out, and so on and so forth. I am in the middle of school, so I cant sit by my laptop all day and night staring at the screen and making sure nothing happens.

Usually for big PWI updates like this I use the 'Automatically Resume Update' option which for me anyway, used to pretty much save all the files I had already downloaded so when I tried downloading it again, instead of starting from 0% it would go from where I left off.. which was extremely handy for major updates and such.

After trying and failing for the past week to get my auto resume thing working I checked through all the help guides and such on the forums and have yet to see anything regarding this issue. It's very irritating to think that over the past week I could have easily updated it by now if it had been working b:surrender

Any thoughts or tips I can use apart from doing the manual update (which I tried using.. DX)

I am trying to get the new update for Descent. I already have the patch. The update is showing a downloading error. Any suggestions?
