Fellow Mystics, Fight for Caster Nirvana

As you've probably noticed, they fixed the caster nirvana glitch (going in catshop to allow casters to pay just 1talisman per run instead of everyone paying a tali) which means we are forced to do 14 to 21 nirvana runs MAX per week. During 2x drops an aps class can farm in a week or two what would take us an entire year to farm if we did nirvanas every day.
While it was a glitch, it was the first time ever we got close to making same money as aps (even with the glitch we could make 15-20mill per hour, while aps make 20-30mill), so if they decided to fix it, they might've as well offered us a way they approve for us to make some kind of money, because right now we are back to square one, being forced to reroll aps if we wish to make any kind of money.
I urge you to send tickets as well as post in this thread so that devs understand they've just managed to undo only good thing that happened to casters in last x years, thus further supporting the game turning into nothing but a sin infestation.

during last x2 which was in semptember i done alot casters and managed to upgrade my items rly alot, but if devs rly fixed this caster nirvana than i think it should stay as it is, we alrdy knowed back than its just a bug and was alrdy told to us it gona be fixed eventualy.
But than it would be fair probebly towards everyone to enable caster nirvana and to mak eit to be same as noncaster without even need to use even 1 talisman, aps ppl have unlimited use of nirvana+they can replace they own talismans for subs or mirages or chips while we need to sacrifice talisman just to do caster.
this game is screwed alot, most of us play casters just for fun and tw, otherwise just role 2 clas and stay forever on em.0 -
You make some very good points MoonsMyst.
No wonder everyone makes Sins, when they obviously get the best advantages in the game. b:surrender0 -
squeaky wheels will get some grease, hopefully, so yea throwing up a quick voice in that thread won't hurt
I think some compromise can be reached, namely to remove the time limit on talis or something similar. It's not fair imo to force people to have an aps class to farm. The 'glitch' opened up a new world to caster cashing and that taste of freedom cannot now be denied completely ... without a fight at least0 -
If you think about it this is exactly the kind of reaction the devs/GMs wanted from taking this glitch away from us casters.
This will lead to more people making sins/BMs to get to 5.0 APS to farm nirvana, but in order to do this they would need to cash shop a lot to become worthy in the eyes of players to run in the normal nirvana squads.
Of course you can choose not to cash shop and run 1-2 caster nirvana a day to try and raise the funds to become 5.0 or you can try to merchant or farm Aba or SoT for skill books when they come up in BH. But seriously who has the time for this?
In order for this nerfed glitch to become fair I think the drop rate in casters nirvana should be made x4 or x2 compared to normal nirvana or take away the talisman completely and just have the option to start a casters nirvana using keys.
I have all casters (minus a nublet tank barb) and I refuse to make a sin/bm/claw barb just to enter nirvana!0 -
I hate the idea of forcing a character to go one way or another just to get into proper gear endgame. Sin are so overpriced to be useful, and there is just way too many of them. Open up the Casters!!!!0

Exactly, let's not take it on the chin and don't allow ourselves to give up without a fight. I see too many people who think "oh what can I do, I'm just one person". It doesn't matter, every voice counts and the more of us that voice the obvious pain we go through, the more likely it is devs will do something about it.
Irony is, it's not like the glitch gave us an unfair advantage. We still made less money than aps chars, even with multiple runs available to us. Don't forget that our number of drops varies a lot, so the ratio of drops is closer to 1:2, at worst 1:3 compared to aps classes - and that is easily countered by aps classes doing 3men runs.
I.e. most of my 5aps friends simply do 3men nirvana runs. Caster nirvana is much harder than that, in a way that 3 casters with equal amount of money spent on the game wouldn't be able to run a caster nirvana efficiently (under assumption that we can do multiple runs as well).
I'm not saying I consider caster nirvana particularly hard, but we do need a mix of classes to make it work the best, whereas normal nirvana has completely turned into purely sins+bm combos.0 -

I agree aeoryn. I dont want to start another char before I get this Mystic where I want it.
Why the Devs would want MORE Sins I just cant imagine. >.>0 -

More sins = more players cash shopping to get 5.0, to have the highest attack rate to stealthgank people in PVP.
More cash shopping = more money for the GMs/devs... it's quite obvious why they would want everyone to make a sin... that and sins are clearly the most favoured class by the devs.0 -
ppl should be blamed, us comon gamers coz we r to greedy, someone alrdy mentioned we can do normal nirvana takin barb to tank for us, if u have 5.0 good geared sin u try to do 2 or 3 man squadd, if u have r9 wiz u try ether solo or 2 man squadd, all greed. i seen those r9 wizzys in wc oferin coins to openers. this days everyone are just full of greed.
i would go in to normal nirvana but sure ppl dont want me, if i would be r9 mystic still they wouldnt want meb:laughb:pleasedb:chuckle0 -

Kai, but if almost everyone in the game is a Sin, then what happens? b:cute
Im guessing "party over...BOOM! Out of time." *giggles*
Whos gonna buy all those cannies and raptures? All the other cannie & rapture laden Sins? >.<0 -
r9 r bigest cashopers not sins and bms.
i done today 2 caster nirvana, drop was solid, but atleast i know why casters are sad, i would if i could spam 10 casters now.0 -
Uhm, since I'm a noob, I truly have no idea or understand about the role of Mystics in Nirvana. But after reading some of the posts, I get the feeling Mystics are being seriously ripped off. So, this is me saying GIVE US BACK OUR RIGHTS!
If that was not the appropriate shout, GIVE US BACK WHAT WE'VE NOW LOST! That should cover pretty much everything.
Mystics FTW b:coolb:victory.0 -

+1
Let's not lose heart. To be honest, this APS thing affected me quite a lot. Started with veno - made a cleric cause I wanted to be a caster welcomed in nirvana - made a barb cause thought I could go claw, then realized it was eugh! - made a mystic cause I realized I loved it best.
However, I doubt that with many voices on that thread, that they would change things because, we took advantage of a glitch. That is, against the rules. Instead, we could voice out for change to make it fair for casters. Then again, with them wanting more people to cash shop, I think it's a slim chance if they actually do something. Unless they allow for -90% channeling........ b:shocked
If worse comes to worst, there are other ways of making money - merchanting, it's slower, but you make your money work for you and when there is good times like 2x, you just buy the crystals at lower prices too! So heads up, let's do our best to try getting our voices heard, but know that all is not lost!Cleric (shelved), barb (shelved), BM (shelved), mystic, veno.
Mystic or veno, mystic or veno?0
