Need assistance

have fully downloaded and updates game and drivers 4 times, portal loads as normal, when start highlites i hit start and game slow to engage, then confirmation screen appears but when i hit confirm the book graphic appears and game freezes, i have to use task manager to unfreeze. im missing something, need advice
