Install directx 9c on a win7 computer

How do I get directx 9c installed on my win7 computer that runs directx 11

    I was wondering about that ..I havent finished my update but from what i read do I need to install Dx 9.c after running win 7 with dx 10+?

    http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35 this is the link from frankierays post even though it says file version 9.29 if your already running directx 11 it will not downgrade it but will in fact put the missing .dll file that is needed to make the game load.

    I already did it I wan't going to because i thought it would downgrade my DirectX 11 but it repaired or replaced the missing .dll file and made it work

    The DirectX 11 have only a part of the DirectX 9 libraries to guarentee backward compatibility for the most cases, but not all (aka pwi).
    It does not have all the old libraries. If a game was built specific to use the v9 libs it is required that you download/install the complete version of the DirectX 9 runtime libraries.

    untill this patch it worked fine without it. they should let this patch stay, but revert to the old system for running it since it worked 100%. wouldnt even take their programmers very long to do it.
