New Quest Tracker

So, we have a new quest tracker. It looks nice, and I like that we can autopath from it. b:victory

BUT, and this is a big but, it takes up such a small amount of screen real estate, it's practically useless. b:surrender

Has anyone found a way to resize it to something more useful? PWE staff, is this a known concern already, internally, before I email?

(Yes, I had a lot of BH to turn in right then. Yes, my quest log is usually almost full. Yes, that's the way my screen really looks, and I play fullscreen.)

Also, it looks like quests don't auto-track and you have to manually click them individually. Grrrrr... b:angry

Anyone else have input on the new quest tracker?

    It's pretty useless for me too now, since I usually have a full quest list, so I have to scroll up and down each time to check the quests I'm tracking?

    It's also pretty annoying, that you have to track each quest individually, instead of being able to auto track all of them at once.

    It doesn't help either, that you have to track each subgoal of a quest individually; like, if you want to track the "Token of the Elements" quest, you would have to select each subquest and track it.

    Well, if there is any way to auto track all the quests and to resize the tracker, at least I didn't find it yet.

    Without a way to resize the new "improved" tracker, it's not really a help; it doesn't "track" my quests better, than my quest log does ...

    I was more interested in the "Summon an Old Friend" thing on the tracker. What's the point? :p

    Anyway....why are you people tracking so many quests that this is problem? You have every BH stacked and every possible quest you can do atm in it? Why the need to fill the screen with this? Personally I don't want that huge chunk of screen real estate taken up by this. I think this new one is great, only track the ones I need to see at the time or forseeable future, in a much less intrusive window.

    Half a day into the changes and people are filled with absolute hate for it. Way to adapt and give new things a chance, people.

    Well, provided you do the quests offered, you have a lot of quests to do, especially in the mid levels, and some require you to travel across the whole map or ask friends to help you with them, especially when you have to do any bosses, so they pile up. But you still don't want to lose track of those.

    Of course if, for example, you FC a BM from level 30 to 90 in like 3 weeks you probably won't have as many quests to track, since you will most likely do FC only anyway and maybe your culti and a few BHs; but then you wouldn't need a tracker at all.

    All I do is quest, so yes, I like a heads-up view of what I have available. And it doesn't use THAT much screen real estate here. It's not like you couldn't click right through the old tracker. The new one I'd be quite happy with, too... provided it was large enough to be useful...

    I've been waiting for PWI to get it as the other Angelica games have this style tracker. Also, they fed us the resources for it back with Genesis. It wasn't clear that we'd have a crapton of scroll instead of a nice display. b:sad

    Make sure your tracker is tracking something and you'll see a flashing (at least it was for me) envelope with a small heart on it on the upper left.

    I know how you feel. The new quest tracker sucks hard, but this little....thing....its weird. And they offer no explanation for it!
    I don't see people begging for Assassins to come save them.
    I don't see people spamming for BM or Archer buffs in Archosaur.
    I don't see people asking to be revived by Barbs, Seekers, or Psychics.
    You know what I do see?
    'OMG I NEED A CLERIC!'
    'Any clerics nearby that can buff me?'
    'Can you rez me? I need a rez.'

    if you could, it would be awesome. I'm really curious, but I guess I'll just deal with the new and 'improved' tracker. Prolly wont bother tracking quests anymore. more useless in game ****.
    I don't see people begging for Assassins to come save them.
    I don't see people spamming for BM or Archer buffs in Archosaur.
    I don't see people asking to be revived by Barbs, Seekers, or Psychics.

    Honestly, I think this was a great change. I noticed it immediately, was startled by it even, but it worked just fine for me.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    The problem that I can see is the width. It used to let the text overflow to the right as far as it goes, but now it seems like it word wraps and it's only as wide as the top title bar.

    The newer quests are coded differently then the older quests you had in your log, that is why your old BHs or what not that where in your log previous of the expansion don't show. If you want them to show you have to manually make them show one at a time.

    Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.

    i like the new one size better, i hated having a whole list down my screen

    only thing that bugs me is if you press track on just 1 quest, u need to have the hide/show thing toggled first.

    I'm not saying "bring the old one back!" by any means. I just want to be able to use more of my available screen space for it. As you can see from my screen shots, I have plenty of vertical space I can use for quest tracking...
