Pls help the client don't update

Hi guys.I am happy to be back in PW.And i say back beacuse in past i have play PW Multilanguage open beta and before the server is close
i manage to have my Warebeast 100 lvl.Now i deside to play PW International but i have a litle problem with the client update
like many members of this forum as i see.So my problem is this :
I download the client in a external hard drive beacuse of the big size and after
I install it in my laptop without problem
after installation a shortcut apears in my desktop (normaly)
when i press the shortcut the client starts and normaly have to autoupdate
but this dont happent.
I press the update button and i put a tick in the box beside Auto update client and restart the client
but nothing happent.
I download the last 2 patch from the forum and i try manualy patch the client but when i find the patch and press it the client close.
The patch i download is this : 1) ec_patch_580-606.cup and ec_patch_604-606.cup.
After i go to the element folder and launch the elementclient.exe.
The game starts and when i put my user name and password it say "the client needs update exit and update the client" (or something like that)
So as you understand i am back in the beggining.I realy need your help ppl.I do something wrong;
I even try to disable my antivirus but nothing the client dont update.
Last i try to manualy run the patcher.exe and when i do that the patcher apears in my decktop for 2 sec and after disapears.
I whant to mention that i have install Forsaken World in my PC and the client autoupdate without problem.
As i search here in the forum for a solution to my problem i read something it say that if you rum windows XP
(btw i run Windows XP SP3) must have the chinese language inside beacuse the client dont update (or smtng like that).
If this is true (beacuse i make format in my PC 2 weeks ago and i dont know if the chinese language is inside) is easy to make it and how;
Sry about the long long dialogue ppl but i try to make you understand exacly my problem.

What version of IE are you running?
At a certain point the patcher fails to work if you don't have the latest version of IE and flash installed.
