Bow viable after going APS?

I haven't yet made the switch to clawbarian, will be doing so soon.

Since i'm going to be putting a lot into dex, would it be a wise descision to keep on going to be able to use bow. I would be sacrificing str (would still have enough for axe tho) I already have a Heaven Shatterer otherwise i probably wouldn't think about it. With my sin, i love pulling out a bow now n then, but i didn't have to sacrifice anything to do so. The purge does sound nice.

I'd say no because 287 dex requirement for a Heaven's Shatterer is just too much invested in Dex. The normal cap is 200.

Think of it this way: 87 dex is .58 dmg multiplier. That's about twice the difference of a level 10 Titans buff you'd be giving up. So you notice the damage difference when you buff yourself, imagine losing about twice of that.

I use the level 53 penetrator bow for most things I want to use a bow for and transfer my BMs purge pole if something needs to be purged.

I use a TT70 Bow, but that's a bit excessive.

I only did because a green bow looks.....cool.

Keep in mind even as a claw barb you still spend a HUGE amount of time wearing your axe. So to drop so much Str for a bow would mean crappy axes, and seriously hurt your ability to perform as a barb should. Plus what Saka said.

Yah, I tried Sakabatou and it was taken. I also habitually spelled it wrong because of how a kendo teacher pronounced it with a heavy asian accent (japanese/filipino) and it sounded like "Suh-koora-bah-tu". I also mispelled my venos name by typing too fast, lol. Soliel instead of Soleil. I noticed when I tried to mail myself some things using the correct spelling and "invalid user" appeared.
