Compare armor

Well, I would like to know if there is any square I should check to enable comparison of armor...

    There isn't such a button,just write down the stats of armors and do some math.
    The only way to beat a troll is....to troll him back b:angry

    You... look at it.
    And decide "Hey, this has a higher defence number. I'll take it!"
    And then you also need to look at the magic bonuses. "This has a little lower defence, but it adds a pile of hitpoints, so maybe I prefer that?" You have to make these decisions yourself.

    Edit:
    Just in case: When you hold the mouse over a piece of equipment in your inventory, or when equipped, you get a tooltip with the full stats.
