    The term your searching for is ethnicity. There are only 5 ethnicity's in the world, where the human race is concerned.

    Negroid
    Caucasoid
    Mongoloid
    Australoid
    Aboriginal

    further sub-classifications are Nationality (ie; the nation you're from) and Cultural Region (a region in that nation where people have similar mannerisms/beliefs/etc that separate them from the rest of the nation.)

    Unfortunately, a lot of people have no clue the proper terms to use, and most will insist it's a certain way when it isn't. But, that's the direction our world is headed in I guess.

    I was under the impression that the 5 you mentioned as ethnicity are actually called "race" while ethnicity refers loosely to what you called the "cultural region," and that humans are not a race, but a species, Homo sapiens? b:question

    Fortunately, although we don't use the proper terms at least we get the message across.

    About the edits: I also don't think being Asian has much to do with finding that type of editing cute or not. Cultural influences may direct people from a certain background be more inclined to find something like that more cute sure but meh. They probably think the generic types of characters americans/europeans make are plain, boring or ugly too so.

    They just want to make pw character to become cute chibi, 2D cartoon / manhwa / manga styled character.
    Just like in games such as seal, dragonica, ********, domo, and many other.

    I am an asian and didn't find those model from PW CN as cute to the point "i must follow", but my fellow asian friend think the opposite of me.

    As organism human react better to things with " face ", i think this was something to do at genetic level that makes people have different taste. (one reason why kids aren't really innocent, they can be heartless or have unusual traits since the beginning )

    People with certain genetic will find realistic particle 3D non chibi model to be pretty looking.
    While people with different genetic will find realistic particle 3D model to be boring and prefer half 2D cell shaded chibi model.
    (introvert extrovert can be used as example)
    Probably being born as certain species cause people to goes toward or prefer specific thing, as their genetic blueprint set them up.

    Most people of today generation prefer to " just follow " what everyone think as a cool or the right things to do, creating less diversity on personality because they are buried by " fake personality " that used in daily life. May cause some people to snap because they keep lying to to their mind.

    Mankind ability to tell lies to them self, are indeed fearsome. b:chuckle What false can become true, if many human agree that it was the truth.

    When we will see rebelling kids that ended up as genius like einsten or someone like darwin this day ?
