New Update Announced to EU Servers First?

So the European Servers just confirmed the new expansion. Is it that because our CM or Mods or whoever updates the PWI related news is just too lazy or what?

Confirmed launch date of February 15th for all who are curious.

Also on the note of European servers, how come they get better bidding hall items than non-European servers?

And thirdly, frankie, I sent you a message on the forums and no response. y u slack :<

    This should be an interesting thread...

    And it does highlight how our CM and GM's are... Lacking compared to... Everything else I'm experienced with in terms of Game to Community communication.

    I noticed an interesting part of that news post... it said that some existing skills are going to be balanced as well...

    Wonder what that could mean...b:shutup

    Who knows, maybe the German GMs are taking the day off.b:chuckle

    I've heard hear-say that the German GMs are less responsive than the French ones, though.b:shutup

    I don't think the old skills were changed at all.
    I didn't see any major changes in the skill text files other than just new skills being added.

    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

    Could it be that the patch being sent to the EU and to us contains slightly different updates than the one CN got ?

    The French link was quite clear on the rebalancing of skills part and you would imagine that french is faaar easier for Google to translate than Chinese so I don't think its an error in the translation there.

    I know AD was changed so that it is no longer an AOE. Maybe other genie skills were changed as well.

    BTW the name of the expansion was given as "Descent".

    HOWEVER
    there is no way our version of the update would be that vastly different than pwcn's
    wanmei wouldn't work that hard to give us a different version

    It may not be dramatic changes... perhaps just adjustments to min - max damage for certain skills and weapons (those fishies again b:sin ).

    trust me wanmei isn't that considerate of us
    the only changes we ever get are in translations and what fash/gear we get

    everything else is 99% similar... minus anti-bot system and no hypers in fcc

    They might just be some minor tweaks like barbs got back in the day (like the reduced attack level debuff on Devour and the magic shield on Bestial Rage).

    According to my information, the CM Denadoro is currently handling the whole German forum and news/announcement related stuff all alone... :X
    He just might not have been able to receive the necessary information from the French department yet. *shrugs*
