R8 recast ripoff ?

I spent 60$ in cash to get these stats ? I expected id get a few bad stats but that's not even funny. PW can kiss my a$$ if they think ill charge gold again. Ive been screwed many times over past three years but this tops it all. I know i was taking a risk but why add dex/str on an arcane leggings ?? b:laughb:angry

eh, what? u know it has same chances for most of it's adds... so if you wanted mag and vit, that would be like a chance of what 7.8 so those too added would be a chance of 15 % ... so that would assume u get a 85% chance of getting something you do not want to have on your gear. for each slot.

I opened this tiger pack thing and only got 15 tokens
the odds of getting good adds on R8 recast is pretty bad. You probably should have researched the percentages before hand. The only ones I know going for recast are simply doing it to get interval or because they didn't like the design of their uncasted R8.0 -

I gotta agree- was a waste of 60$. I mean you could have just got it free by actually playing the game....just like you can reroll it an get better ones for free. Seems idiotic to spend money on a game you really don't even like playing.0

Because once upon a time unique builds were something people did, and having the exact same armor as everyone else is boring. (There are people nowadays who will call me fil for putting 6 points in dex to make up to 20 on my Wiz (Voidlands tome put me close enough so I thought **** it)) because being different is dumb in many peoples eyes.
Also, coinsink and a reason to continue doing trials after you get the gear. Costs like 10% of the original cost to re-roll doesn't it? Just try again and remember that you get a huge defence and refine increase no matter what the stats. (Stats on original R8 were always kinda meh aside the veno legs and the chests for AA/LA).I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

Ya guess i was QQ cuz i was angry . And im far from a cash shopper and had saved for that because things are tight right now. Yes i know it was dumb of me to wait two weeks to see if gold resale got better. Also dumb doing as much trials as i could, now u get why i was so angry ? lol. Thing gets me i guess is that they even add Dex to arcane gear . That alone makes me the most angry . Idk I geuss it is the mentality of needing to buy anything beyond rank 8 an full inventory/bank that really eludes me in this day an age of pwi.
Rank 8 gear in the +4-5 range with flawless gems is fine for just about anything in the game and recast even more so. Once you have rank 8 all you gotta do is join an active faction that regularily does atleast the first 9 trials weekly and recast will happen free of charge. Can always pick up extra mats from the coin from doin bhs to make it happen faster or save it for eventually refine higher or better gems.
Really is no reason to spend more than 100$ ever in this game unless you really feel the need to get rank 9 an hang with the rest of the guys who try to outspend each other,0 -
That does suck...horrendously. I'd be upset as well. The max endurance especially is just adding insult to injury. Makes me glad now that I won't see the recast, since they won't make it possible for anyone who is factionless by choice to get them. I'll just settle for normal R8, and be happy. I'd be really upset if after all of that, I got str. add ons, dex add ons, and +25% max endurance add ons. That's the equivalent of PWI giving me the finger, and I wouldn't be too happy with that."Male Player using female toon. Please don't flirt with me."

wtf o.O....Just BUY the mats. Seriously ALL of them are tradeable (including ores, unless you open the packs), it's what I did for my r8 chest recast which got me
+10 HP Recov
+10 Magic
Reduce magic damage +3%Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

Hmm. I heard somewhere that some of the mats weren't tradable ot something. (Don't fully remember.) How much do each of the mats tend to cost btw? (I'm aware that we're not on the same server, so our price range may be different. Curious nonetheless in hopes of an estimation.) Thanks for the info though."Male Player using female toon. Although it's pretty-looking gear, most of the bonuses are pretty bad....because you totally want a magic wep with -1% channeling on it >___>. Yeah the possibility of having an effect on a magic wep is nice, but still, you have to be lucky to get that and possibly run a few tries. In my opinion it's a ripoff coinsink.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

On LC, costs under 100mil per armor piece to recast it ( less than dbl nv casting a HH/lunar piece), coins are about 25k ea, shields are like 60-75k, forgot how much the plat ores are, also the nontradble items are only when you open the pack they come in to actually use it, the pack the item is in is tradble (ex. the plat ores you need for recasting r8 armor come in plat ore packs which are tradble and will give you 1 ore when you use it)full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D0 -

I really only know of the Warrior Seal (used in large volumes to get mats from the item forge) is untradeable.
But the mat prices right now...
Memorial coins - 25 - 50k
Round Shield Medal - 70 - 75k
Platinum Ore - 1.2 - 2 mil
Damascene Ore - 10 - 15mil
Adamantine Whetstone - 200 - 750k
Hapatizon Whetstone - ??? (I haven't seen any of these for sale)
Oricalcum Ore - ??? (Again, haven't seen any catshop with them)
Not sure of the other mats...if any, i'll look around when i get home from school and see if I can find some more prices...but majority of items are below 3 mil. Ive made 2 pieces. Chest and Shoes.
On Chest after one reshape ( had got **** stats first) I have got 3% Crit and 2% reduce phy damage.
(effectively am pure mag SAGE veno with 17% crit rate)
On Shoes I have got +242 HP and 2% reduce Phy damage.
Add to that 1200 HP bonus effect.
I have 8k HP now with unrefined gear. (waiting for +10 sale)
4 socket on both pieces (All recast 4 soc )
