Wizard R9 recast - hmmm?

Hello guys,

Got R9 a while back, managed to rafine it and jade it, except cape/helm, got my 45 mag tome and g16 neck, 1 good PQ ring with +10 magic+100HP, now the question i have for you guys... would be Is it worth it to go for R9 recast?

At the moment, the best I can improve to my items would be to add 4th socket on helm and cape, around 32.000 Sock stones and gamble with Ancient Emblems to get better ring stats, which I failed miserable spending over 300mil on the damn emblems.


Recast costs still tons of coins...1.200 Raptures and 9.600 Uncannies. I gotta gather them all and do it at once or I lose Set Bonus.

Even with R9+12 and 62 Def levels, zerk crit classes that have +12 weapons can oneshot me at times. Archers with R9 Bow are biggest issue in TW as they purge so fast it's not even funny.

Any other R9 wizzies outthere working on their build have any advice in this area?

    rap and uncanny packs are just gonna happen sooner or later.. probably sooner. Most of the people in your scenario are just waiting til then, it isnt worth it atm. just follow the same trend r8/9 did:

    -release incredible new gear thats impossible to farm
    -put in cash shop

    what about r8 recast wep? i am not going to put much more if any real monney into this game i do not have a farming charicter soo... what do you think? i can farm trials at leastb:victory

    at that point they will remove wedding wines from token exchange list :P well i would do that. if i ran the company :) or put them in for like 30-40 TobL

    Recast isn't going to stop you from getting 1 shotted. You're better off investing on sky cover +12 rings and engraving double attack level adds on them to make up for the loss of magic attack.

    he has full r9 +12 josd on his wizard, i dont think he would spend bills on end for r9 psy +12 josd.

    The increase in pdef would be around 1200 unbuffed. so from 4k to 5.2k which makes little difference when I am purged. Fully buffed, I hit 18k(and I am pretty tanky) so from 18 to 25k with the ring...I dont know...
    I think I will just wait for the skills from the expansion, that purify buff after being hit and knocked-back sounds pretty nice.
