Genie skills for veno?

i have no idea what i should take?? what is best for pve and pvp?

    For PvE, my genie has Holy Path, Tangling Mire, Absolute Domain, and Extreme Poison. :) I'm not really sure about PvP genie for venos, but I was planning to get Expel as one of the skills if I get a different genie for PvP.

    Holy Path and Tree of Protection / Second Wind are important genie skills (for pvp and pve).
    I used to have Relentless Courage (for faster channeling) and Badge of Courage for PvP, in case u get stunned by bm or sin :d
    Cloud Eruption is really nice too, so u always have a spark ready for Lending Hand.
    The most important skill for pvp is Absolute Domain... since u can combine it with Ironguards.
    Also i have Bramble Rage :) with a dex genie it makes good damage and has a nice channeling-interrupt-effect.

    You could build two genies, one for PvP and one for PvE as there is a variety of skills you can get. Since I don't PvP on a regular basis (I only do it in Cube when necessary, duels or mild PK among faction mates) I have not much experience about that area, however, I can advice you with the PvE genie.

    Skills I consider as a "must-have":

    Holy Path - even though Venomancers are fast by nature that is not always enough, especially useful in Delta/Gamma when you do the running ticket job or other situations when you gotta escape fast

    Extreme Poison - it has an Amplify Damage effect (20%) that stacks with both Amplify and Blademaster's Heaven's Flame, it's a really nice skill to have, however it does not stack with Assassin's Subsea so when there are some in squad you might have to talk with them about it (bosses that are immune to Amplify are immune to EP)

    Tangling Mire - it has a 35% (if I recall correctly) physical reduction debuff that stacks with any other physical debuff, it can be applied on any target with no exception and if you're a Demon Venomancer (or choose to follow that path) it's a real must since Demon's physical debuff doesn't proc 100%

    Tree of Protection/Second Wind - one of them should be enough, my personal favourite is ToP because it heals more but Second Wind is instant so it's your choice there

    Absolute Domain - this skill right here will save you many many many times, it just needs a little practice with timing it correctly

    Other nice skills to have:

    Expel - it makes you immune to physical attacks but seals you, it is quite useful in some situations

    Earthquake - it knocks back your enemies and interrupts their channeling, it's especially useful in Caster Nirvana but also in other situations such as when you've just aggro'd a large group of mobs by accident

    Cloud Eruption - although I didn't touch that skill on my Venomancer, if you feel the need to have it you may consider it, it gives you a spark

    Relentless Courage - that's good for when you have to spam heal on your pet, it may be handy on early levels when -chan gear is not very available

    On my TW/PK genie; Holypath, Extreme Poison, TOP, Expel, AD, Occult Ice (cause I hate when people try to run when I purgeb:cry), Windshield (waste of space though, have yet to replace it with something usefulb:chuckle)

    My genie right now is cloud eruption, absolute domain, expel, lure and explosion.
    I'm a demon venomancer, because of this cloud eruption is a great way to get chi - and we don't need holy path because we can run at the same speed as a mount with our own skills alone.

    Absolute Domain is a necessity in PVE and PVP.
    Expel is very important for PVP.
    The lure skill isn't important - but it comes with the genie that I have so I left it there, venomancers can lure with pets.
    Explosion was just me fjklkjing around.

    It's a rather good choice, albeit once Demon Crush Vigor and Demon Lending hand become available chi is no longer an issue and said genie skill can be replaced.

    I'm confused. How should I use the points of my genie? The skills mentioned need STR or DEX to be upgraded.

    Each skill requires either STR or DEX indeed so you have to choose carefully how you want to build your genie.

    For example if you choose Tree of Protection and Extreme Poison you can add DEX and little to no STR (Tangling Mire will still debuff well without STR). If you choose Second Wind you can add STR instead of DEX and get a better debuff with Mire and better heals with Second Wind. You need to give up on something to gain something else.

    Just choose your skillset and decide :)
