G13 barrier thorn or R8 for farming only help plz.

Hello, my sin is lvl 97 and just wanna get your input's on wether i should go g13 barrier thorn or r8 for farming nirvana mostly, bh's etc... so when I hit lv 100 I will know what to choose. I've asked many sin's on my server (archo), some some say go r8 4 aps because of the dps, and some say go g13 5 aps cuz of the chi building. I decided to take this to the forum cuz it seem's oblaze,skai,saku and more just cant remember all the names know ur stuff. Appreciate any feed back ty.
