Lynsey's RL Headwings Project (recreating Esnemyl's look)

I sometimes get comments on how alike the rl me and Es look.
And..

So, Whilst I took my hairband out to rebrush my hair into a neat pony.. I had a thought when checking the forums here and thinking how cool it would be to have real archer/cleric headwings. I put my pencil against my hairband and thought..

Seeing how long the pencil was against the hairband, I got to work. I put it on some A4 paper, and started sketching. Firstly with two dots on the start and end of the penci's length. And came up with this shape:

Now I need some card, I will copy the pattern I made onto it, and attach them onto a thin back band.. somehow.. after finding the right white feathers and glue.
I know I'll need some really long ones for the ends of the headwings, and short fluffy ones(mostly can be found at any craft shop) will be for the base.

Also, finding two small gold acessories (the little hold ring and crest) to match Esne's hair shouldn't be a hassle. Tracking down some pale pink eyeshadow that matches hers to boot.

    I found some lipstick in my makeup bag, a good girly pink colour! So thats Esne's lip colour sorted :3

    Progress report!
    Headwings are now stuck on said alice band! Like so..

    I had to sacrifice my feather's that were dangling at the bottom :( But oh well. I attached the base with some poxy glue
    (FOR EXPERTS ONLY. Seriously, use all purpose if you are a rookie to this. I've worked with poxy glue before because I do model railwaying. Yes, I like trains...)

    My pops has ordered me some feathers, I've reinforced the wings with another layer of cardboard. I will paper mache them to strengthen them a little bit more before sticking them on.

    Next step - Makeup
    heres what I am using for Esne's rl makeup currently.

    I'm a big fan of Maybeline. THe new foam foundation is AMAZING, it's so good for oily skin. Rimmel's tranclusent powder is a nice finish off. I'm using their studio gel liner
    Under Eye concealer is Garnier roll on
    Mastara is Avon Super Extend
    I'm using some light pink eyeshadow from my pallate to completely cover my lid. It's just from a drugstore, and will emphasize the metallic pink liner.

    I just bought a lighter pink metallic liner from Barry M though.. trying out the metallic one (above) I have currently.. it didn't turn out good. It was more of a purple..
    I will attempt it again on wednesday :)
