yes i acctualy have seen/know a wizard like his gear/refines/shards ARE EXACTLY THE SAME IN GAME AS ON THIS CALCULATOR DISSCUSS?!?!?!?!?! GO!!!

    Yea, it's fail. There is a person on Sanctuary that is all +12 r9, with g16 cube neck and rings all +12, as well as a set of Nirvana AA armor +12. That guy just needs to hit delete on his wiz and roll an archer. ijs

    Side note, this may become more common after wizards get better skills in expansion. Sin mains love playing the OP class. (remember when everyone and their mom had a veno main?)

    I have a sin/archer main, and I would never make an LA wizzie. There isn't any point tbh. The damage reduction is too high imo.

    He should make an archer, simply because if he can afford that, he could afford r9 bow.
    Wizzies aren't very good being LA same being LA Cleric.
    They are one shot by mages, and the defense you can easily get from shards and refines of ornaments. He'd be better off with an archer the damage out put is better and the gear would be amazing.

    Well, why would people go for LA on wiz, I dont know, for crit? For more rafines, better pdef?
    Wiz=Glass/Cannon class. Even at R9+12 all items, a wiz is still a cannon/glass so one can as well go for pure DMG

    LA is definitely the worst armor. Ijs, I don't see why a +10/12 Nirv armor sin won't account stash their gear to a Wiz for TW if they are too lazy to farm it. On my server, I often see LA BMs and Sins already account stash their aps to get 5.0 base archer farming alts on DW.

    Personal note: I would not do the above. Just stating that this does actually happen in game. Nerfing ones damage for defense tends to be fail in my book (especially on casters/archers)

    Ararat from HT used to be geared like that, haven't seen him in a while though...so not sure what his gear is like anymore.

    Generally Wizzies have better pdef and matk with AA if they shard right. The +Mag stats on Arcane armour gives them more than the +1 attack level, even 4 on one peice. The magic difference means they can shard JosD or Garnets (if you're poorer) and the HP refines are negligable.. LA is just stupid at 90+.

    Some peices of AA have +pdef anyway, which turns out to be a lot.

    The only difference at 5aps is that it costs more on sage, and that you can have 12 % more crit on a demon archer while you are on fists.

    Anyways, that build is very strange, if he has enough money for a rank9 weapon, why didnt he get himself arcane armor?

    its sad when archers only talk about their fist dps instead of skill use

    when a bm or assasin is clearly better for obvious reasons
    and archers can just go account stash all gear for 2x? 3x? damage


    demon spark is obviously better than sage spark when youre using a bow
    but that cant be the only skill to use, can it?
