Ok....waiting to hear back from parents to see if the recovery disk for my laptop showed up (and if it did, worked...)


but if it didn't I wanted people to suggest a cheap laptop or tower that would last me until march or june for playing pwi and general items.


Budget will probably be around 200-300 dollars, maybe 500 if I transfer the majority of my paycheck each week to savings.

a laptop will always overheat like hll ..get a desktop the more cash can pool the better...a dedicated video card if possible and 4-6k ram..might even want save one more month for something spectacular... laptop is good if u travel a lot onlyb:surrender

A desktop will cost a little more and is going to stretch the edge of your budget simply because of the components....

This would get you by nicely though, and is available in stores.

Or for portability get this, and a cooling pad.

Thanks guys for the little bit of help you were able to provide, I ended up finding a computer dealer actually in my neighborhood and bought a nice computer off him for 150 bucks.
