Removing DoTs

Hey people, I'm a Lvl 75 Mystic and I'm wondering if it's possible (in any way) to remove, on my own, any Damage Over Time spells on me? b:beg

You know, spells like Poison from Wood Elementals or Fire Burn from Fire Elementals.

I tried to not take any damage in the first place by using Verdant Shell, Falling Petals, Aegis Sphere and Martyrdom, but no luck. DoTs seem to be unaffected by them. b:irritated

So do I have to depend on other classes to remove such things from my Mystic? b:question

In case you haven't figured it out, I'm quite a noob b:shy. Indeed, this is my first and highest level char in PWI. So forgive me for this silly (if it is) question.

Nick.

P.S.:- I believe the removal of such DoTs is called Debuffing, but I may be wrong. Or I may be right. And I believe Clerics and Venos can do this. My understanding of other classes' skills is VERY limited. b:embarrass

I'm a noob too (new player), but your genie can help where you may feel you fall short - I know you depend on Holy Path, but there is also an "expel or nullify poison" spell available, and Im not sure, but there is probably something at your genie's disposal to handle the fire.

Mystics also have a plant that when exploded debuffs, but I cant honestly say I know which one or what exactly it debuffs, lol b:chuckle

Hope somone more experienced posts better answers. b:cute

Clerics can purify this on demand. The only other reliable ways are to get to 89 and use your Sage/Demon Spark or Sage Shadow Escape for sins (which only works on themselves). Mystics get a 25% chance to puri with either Sage Break in the Clouds or Demon Comforting Mist.

:O Yes there is! It's called 'Nullify Poison'! Wow!

I'll look into the exploding debuffer O.O xD

Matryrdom is a Salvation Skill which absorbs a x% of an attack's damage on the target.

Okay, I'm having a little trouble finding the Orbs. Do I have to make them?
