Visa gift card

So....can I use it or not....the card balance says I have $100 I charge 50 it gets declined HELP

(tried using it with google checkout)

    For this, I would submit a ticket and try posting in The Cash Shop Huddle.

    It may be easier to use the gift card to purchase game cards at a local retailer.

    depends on the card. A store-specific card may not be able to.
    A regular Visa gift card works pretty much like a regular credit card as far as transactions are concerned. (Always check with the card provider for any hidden POS fees or exclusions.)

    So it's entirely possible that you could take a $100 Visa gift card to Target and buy 5 $20 PWE charge cards.

    Did/do you have to activate your visa gift card? I had something similar and had to activate it. I'm assuming you activated it because you said the account balance was $100.. If you haven't try going to their website.

    I have a visa debit card and it got denied when I tried to charge zen but (even though you said that you've already tried Google checkout) I used Google checkout and it worked. Although the first time it didn't work because I checked the box 'keep my email private' or something like that.
    So maybe you might have had that box checked?

    Well i went to the website & the only thing I needed to do to activate is put in a zip code i did that & it still doesn't work :/ on pay pal, google checkout or moneybookers
