Question what can you do about auto spammers in chat

Is there anything that can be done that anybody knows of to deal with a person using an auto spam bot that you know is spamming but you can't prove it because all it's doing is spamming for hours on end every 20 or so seconds to avoid being blocked by spam filters. It's getting annoying and even though I can blk list him why the hell does nobody check the servers main areas like West Archo on Arch server where this persons autospam bot has been going for hours. You would think a GM would have noticed at some point during the day right? This is just my thoughts on this what about yours?

    With the volume of WC goin on, I imagine that it would be a tough task to find them and ban them. I suggest just black listing them and not worry.

    Screenshot it and report it to GMs, hoping they'll do something about it but by the time they ban the account the person has already made another account and still spamming.

    So yeah there's nothing you can do about it, thats up to PWE and their needing to IP ban some people.

    There are issues with IP bans though... What if they are at someplace like Starbucks using their WiFi? Another issue is that, from what I have understood, some places, such as Great Britain, an IP ban actually ends up effecting a whole area.

    Still, there has to be a solution somewhere.

    b:chuckle your post implies that GM's actually log into the game b:laugh it also implies they actually care b:laughb:laugh but yea screenshot and report it, there was a thread for naming and shaming these spam bots somewhere maybe post a screenie there, seems at one point GM's where actually paying attention to the thread and banning those accts.

    Ikr, been playing for 2 years, only seen 3 GMs .. that were afk

    Have had 2 GM sightings , both afk at the time ....
