    R9 for damage, R8 with advanced purge for pure support.

    personaly i would rather g15 niv dual axes, with GOF, crit/hp, and +20attack than r9 poleaxe
    but r9 is the best endgame if you want to spend a lot

    Rank 9 weapon for a BM is dual axes.

    R9 axes.

    GoF and +20 atk levels are both unique add ons and you can only get one. And R9 weapon and Nirvana weapon are roughly the same price after a few rerolls.

    @Hurrdurr, can any axes get a purge effect? I didn't think so.

    Assuming the OP and you define 'axe' as any weapon that is included in the axe skill tree and therefore is able to use axe only skills such as HF then yes.

    Very nice. That'd be sexy for long drawn out fights, having R8 axes with purge and R9 axes with GoF.

    G15s with GoF = TT99 wep (20m) + 250 raps (500m) + 280 raps to re-roll (560m) = 1.08b

    G15s with 20AL = TT99 wep (20m) + 250 raps (500m) + 350 raps to re-roll (700m) = 1.22b

    r9 cost = 3 medal of glory and 32 GST (ring 235 gold) + 5 medal of glory and 85 GST (525 gold) = 860 gold @ 1.5m each = 1.29b (wep only 787.5m of it)
