Starting new veno! Anyone got any tips?

I want to make.. a strong, pretty veno. But I have a bit of a problem... Uhhhh venos never were easy for me to buid.. So is there any new player venos out there who might want to be friends with my Veno? I guess it's a odd thing to ask.. but I usually don't have very much friends when ever I make a new character. And tips would be helpful too.

    Well tbh,venos are somewhat hard class to be good at pvp,but on pve side,they get in squads(endgame instances&such) very often.

    Well,arcane build(4mag+1str):
    Good for:
    -good healin 4 pets=you def need that to solo TT
    -nice attack

    Cons:
    -You ll get ***** by most meele classes since pdef sucks
    -Not good for pvp;unless you are gonna get r9b:victory

    Hybrid:(3mag+1str+1vit)
    Good 4:
    -More HP
    -Lil better pdef

    Cons:
    Not as good mag attack as arcane build has

    Heavy(well,better check armour requirments but imo:2mag+2str+1dex)
    Good for:
    -Great pdef(in fox form its even better :P)

    Cons:
    -BAD mag attack
    -Not as good mag def

    And there is Light armour(3mag+1dex+1str)
    Well,both def are mediocre,but its known as worst gear 4 mages.

    I wanted to be HA but I changed my mind;Ill go pure mag r9b:laugh

    And as for pets:
    PVE:(soloin TT)
    -Herc(costs 100mill with buyin from others)
    -Alternative 4 herc is Glacial Walker(use him untill you have enough for herc)

    PVP:
    Eh,dont PK until you get endgameb:surrender
    Somekind of bug or Kowlin(rare pet,has bad respawn time)
    Obviusly when you raise funds,get a nixb:victory

    Dont scare off from costs of nix&herc;buy them after you get r8(r8 is lol need
    to get in nirvana squads)

    just a few clarifications on yousuckman's post:

    the bug he is talking about is the petite sawfly, level 8 flying mob near bamboo village. it's no nix but the damage output is really close to it. and it works too on flying opponents should he decide to scamper away unlike the kowlin.

    Besides the stat build, the gears and the pets there's one thing that most players do left out sometimes on guides and that is a veno's role in squads.

    You will have many roles in a squad: lurer, DD, Tanker, debuffer...all except healing a fellow player.

    My advice to you: DO NOT POWERLEVEL TOO MUCH. learn to play your toon. yes you may have some slip-ups along the way but that is when you learn what you will do when you are in a squad. it will also **** up your gameplay should you find out that your pet is several levels below and cannot tank properly so you end up getting unwanted aggro
