    right now? about the same except you still need to reroll the rank8 recast a few times to get acceptable stats.

    I still remember the 40k undine crit on got with my +5 rank8 mage in trials (and by undine crit I mean a crit with undine strike not a crit on an undined mob)

    EDIT: Btw the main reason for less people doing it during 2x is because 2x doesnt effect the drops in anyway (bosses still drop the same as 1x and thus the majority of DDs have other things to do atm).

    Actually LG runs it almost every day. We haven't completed 3-9 though to my knowledge.



    In our faction usually Skuttlebut, a R9 Wizard, or myself if I'm there tanks the boss (aggro pingpong if his DB drops). If we die, aggro goes to Archers in barrage. High APS is completely irrelevant in regards to Trials.

    My initial comment was based on the belief that skill damage is boosted 2x for the trials which wouldn't be enough for casters and archers to hold aggro. When informed that skill damage is actually boosted 4x... well obviously my previous opinion no longer applies.

    The current arrangement is all well and good for those dedicated members of the guilds who are highly involved in their factions and what not. But for those more casual guild members, there is less incentive to come along for the ride on trials runs knowing that there won't be any instant gratification when the run is completed compared to spamming Nirvana on their aps alts during 2x.

    I don't know of anyone actually quitting their factions over that though. More than likely they would just be less inclined to do the run again.

    and you forgot sage/demon spark with the blessing and triple spark any half decent caster, archer, seeker can rip agro from a aps person no matter how good their gear is, i have r8 +7 and i get agro from r9s every now and again

    true aps makes the bosses got faster but the trials with swarms of mobs like 4,5,7,9 anyone using skills cant take agro from 5 aps with a mere 2 spark

    None of that would mean jack if not for the 4x damage in trials simply because 5 aps melee can permanently stay in triple spark mode (Sins don't even need to be 5 aps to do so) due to the fast chi gain while auto attacking. Casters and Archers on the other hand can't and thus can't keep aggro without the damage boost.
