Demon vs Sage Support mystic?

I have a question regarding demon vs holy support (PVP) mystic. Reading all the skills, i noticed that Dark mystic is ALL AROUND better at support. I mean yes, holy have a few great skill for supporting in pvp, but i ALWAYS have a mana charm on so mana is never a problem. That cuts out a few of there skills right there that i would need b:chuckle! I found that strange how sage is all around great for support cleric pve and pvp.. but sage version of mystic seems to just b geared towards pve :(

all and all, it looks to me like if ur planning on pvping as support/DDing (of course, if mana is never an issue), go dark
However, if ur planning on doing a lot of instances/pve, sage would b the way to go

p.s. i wanna go sage b/c that sounds right as im a support mystic, but dark has more skills that seems more appealing for supporting in pvp

    Sage is all around more balanced. When you cast your heal on that psychic, and watch him heal 8k hp, and get purified of both the stun and dragons, you'll know why Sage BiTC rocks for pvp.

    Demon generally has more useful skills, and has a more dangerous triple spark. but is not as capable pvp DD as sage. To get chi fast they have to turtle up and spam BiTC, which is generally a losing proposition in PvP.

    Admittedly, sage has better in battle chi regen while demon has better out of battle chi regen so you could also keep that in mind when you make your decision.

    yea.. thats so odd to me.. shouldnt it b the other way around lol!

    While technically true that demons have better ooc chi regen, sages also have a skill that increases chi by 50 points instantly, so sages have a lead on out of battle chi regen for the first 18 seconds, then demons start to take over. By the end of 1 minute of spamming BiTC demons will have ~50 more chi than sages.

    Stop using maths to make demon less appealing D: It's not uncommon for it to proc at least three times in the first 20 or so seconds.

    Sure, but it's also possible for it to proc 0 times in 10 tries.

    personally i prefered the demon version for a support role as we were never meant to take the place of clerics anyway. while our heals are good an aoe purify seems far more supporting of having a cleric in the squad as well as the amping chance of thicket and swirling mist.

    i have also noticed that if a char resurects themselves fast enough during a fight they will not lose aggro.so the 100% res could prevent alot of deaths in instances for pve and the fact that for tw the tankier and more defensive classes would basically become double tanks

    I went demon because most of the time I don't wanna be the main healer, but if I absolutely have to, I will. Like today, I found myself solo healing delta. It was my first time, and it didn't go so well. The archer went afk, the first wave, then after awhile the ranged mobs got to me. I find myself being rambo alot. Running, nuking, debuffing and aoeing alot, while providing the cleric with back up heals. My main reason for going demon is this.
