Fist question (sorry)

So yeah, I main a BM and have an R8 archer alt so I've went and got myself a pair of striking dragons. However after spending so much money on the R8 and striking dragons I've found myself with little coin left. My next spending will probably be on getting my Striking Dragons to +10 which is going to take some coin.... So I tried soloing Frost to sell heads on my BM and it was surprisingly easier than I remembered, granted I was 2.0 sparked last time I did Frost and 5.0 now. However I ran into many problems finding a sin, getting the perfect stun on harpies, BP running out half way, bishop boss purging my BP, killing mobs along the way.
So~ I was like F*ck this ****, you guys win, I'm making a sin. That way I wont have to hunt down you stealthed buggers, get my BP on demand, walk straight to bosses, and just overall save time and effort. However I really can't pour anymore money into getting another character R8, getting a interval tome, or farming raps for G13 daggers so I was thinking of working with what I have, the striking dragons I was planning on getting to +10.
So my question is there any real drawback? I know that clawsins don't have fist mastery, but that's only like 10% difference compared to my bm right? I know daggers do more damage, but I really don't want to invest into an alt I plan to farm with and I already have some decently good gears I can work with.

Not really a good idea.
If you plan to sell frost, you'll need to kill all the mobs anyway, so being a sin doesn't really save any time there.
Basically, the only thing you'd gain is permanent BP.
And besides, selling FCC is bad money. You get what, 400k per person, with 5 people? That's 2m.
Since you ran out of BP, you took at least 30 minutes to complete it. Which is quite long for selling an FCC, considering that you get like 2m out of it.
So yeah, I think your approach is bad.
As for fist/claw mastery: If we assume you'd have about 500 strength at 100, your fist mastery's +60% turns into ~+14%.
The primary reasons for making a sin alt would be the highest DPS in the game and the stealth. And with claws, your DPS falls below that of a BM and in selling FCC the stealth is pretty useless.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.0 -
well since I'm selling only the exp room I assumed I wouldn't need to kill the mobs. Even if the party needed an AOE DD for clearing it, I could always switch to my BM at that point. While I could have done Nirvana runs during that time, I only have so many keys left and TM69 is slightly out of my league with my armor atm. 2 mil doesn't seem really bad for just stealthing through and punching a few bosses senseless.0

TM69 isn't too tough, should be done easily with a charm, wanna post your calc?0

So to sum up, you solo frost for money and want to improve efficiency with the following points :
- Need to find bp, and a rebuff because you get purged and/or when it takes to long
- Harpies are a pain to kill
- You have limited funds
You're own idea is to lvl a sin, and make it use your bm and/or archers gear.
I think this is a bad idea, because you will actually go slower. BM with fists and bp is better damage and better survivability. It's just a commodity problem. Besides fist mastery, your spark is less powerfull and you encounter a problem on stat distribution : Either you go with max dex and your damage will be lower (compare bm vs archer), or you go with maximum str and your aoe damage will suck bigtime.
Some suggest to do TM69.
I doubt this would solve the "need to get bp" problem. If you need bp to solo fcc, you definately need it to solo TM69. Unless you're one of those who charges others to work for you ofc. If you rely on lvl60-80 sins to keep you bp'ed or clerics to keep you healed, I foresee a lot of frustration ahead.
I'd suggest to simply make a buff-alt sin on other account.
You only need to have to worry about culti till lvl29, because that covers all skills you need (stealth, +stealth lvl passive and bp), and lvl it to 80 preferably (maxed bp). If you get some gear, it will also help to take down harpies. Considering you said bp runs out and that your fists are to be gotten to +10, we all know what you do with stormtrooper. A lvl80 sin with leg daggers that are dirt cheap will be a way better help-alt then any other class you take there now. It will save you some time with 2nd boss and cleaning till exp room door.0
