Ok, I know that there is a bm out there with one .005 interval on his chest plate, my question is how many rerolls before you got it? Also is there any other bms out there with rank 8 recast weapons that would say how the procs are for such as square formation...

Currently I have recast plate and rerolled it 4 times..always super crappy adds....and I have recast boots. My idea was that if I get a single int .005 on each then that means I can still be 5.0 with nirvy g15 claws that i have (revenge,int,str+18)and maintain all heavy armor. The defense with my two recast seems pretty good an the do get the set bonus for alot of life.The other thing is that atleast with recast armor you get 4 sockets each time-it gives you chance to use stones to transferr however you dont need to. I'm in the process of gathering matts for my axe to be recasted as well as continue to reroll.


I know rank 9 axe is technicaly superior - just want to try my hand with one of the stun adds instead or maybe in additon to..depending on my fortune.

    Let's do the math first.

    You have 3 random addons, and the chance of each addon to be 0.05 is 1.37%. So the probability of getting at least one 0.05 is 1 minus the probability of getting no 0.05 out of 3 addons.

    1 - (98.63%)^3 = 0.04

    1/0.04 = 25

    So in theory you need to try 25 times. good luck! b:victory

    Just to make people happy. Let's calculate the chance of getting at least two 0.05.

    P(at least two 0.05) = P(at least one 0.05) - P(exactly one 0.05) = 0.04 - (1.37%)*(98.63%)*(98.63%)*3 = 0.00184

    1 / 0.00184 = 543 tries! b:cry

    P(three 0.05) = (1.37%)^3 = 0.00000257

    1/0.00000257 = 389105 tries Holy **** b:shocked

    well getting just one .005 is entirely reasonable then- and I will be super happy to get one .005 in 25 tries, esp if other decent adds too. The def value is pretty nice and considering the cost of gold..well its a good value for coin atm and it is 100% better than crappy tt99 int stuff.

    I do believe the probability for 0.005 is 0.000% b:cute. Let's see if more r8 recast comes out for "normal" players.

    Another fun fact-- although rank 9 set bonus kicks butt....Rank 8 recast armor has more psy def an mag res on the heavy plate so even without the int- it is the best armor in the game that doesn't require someone to use a credit card.

    You only kept that .04 figure to 2 decimal places and used it to calculate another value to 5 decimal places. Your answer is off by a factor of over 3.

    Good attempt though, for a BM.

    Btw it's not number of decimals that matters it's the number of sig figs that does. For example 0.0002 has 4 decimals but only 1 sig fig.

    The quantity of sig figs is preserved with multiplication and division but for adding and subtracting you have to go by decimal position.

    For your formula, if you were to follow the rules for significance arithmetic you'd have to round to the 2nd decimal position and would have arrived at a value of 0. A value of zero would have been closer to the correct value but it's not a very satisfying answer though and tells you need to use more decimal places to calculate a value as small as .000558

    Can't really let an archer look down upon us BMs. In Chinese BM is called WuXia meaning a chivalrous knight.

    Which way is cheaper? Getting rank 8 recast interval plate or getting nirvana pants for an additional interval?

    Well in my case i farmed some mats and bought the others, but i got it a High Prices nowdays the price are for my server

    Round Shield Medal = 130-150k <- i got it for 200k :(
    Memorial Coins = 50-60k <- i got this for 50k some for 55-60k
    Platinum Ore = 1.5m-2.5m <- i got some doing trials and some for 1.5m

    it takes my like 1 month (even buying the mats)

    If ur faction its very active on trials u can farm all mats for the chest in 1 month

    Fase 1 Trials (1-9) = 10 Chest = 120 coins in the worst case
    Fase 2 Trials (2-9) = 10 Chest = 120 coins in the worst case
    Fase 3 Trials (3-9) = 10 Chest = 120 coins in the worst case

    360 coins in 1 week

    all this on 1 week..... so in 1 month u still can get all the coins and other mats b:bye
