so after being a complete griswald with electronics, my computer decided to die RIGHT after I put my other computer in the shop (meaning i only needed the current one for about 2 weeks and then I'd toss it...). I managed to save the comp by doing a compelete system restore, sadly I lost everything in it. I didn't back up ANYTHING because I think I'm God when it comes to computers, I guess, lol. In the process of re-downloading my spyware programs and then I'm gonna do the dreaded PWI download. I also no longer have discs for my Photoshop so I can't edit any pictures anymore unless I buy new discs. :/ I lost my Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 too and all my Merlin episodes I downloaded and all my pictures I took from 2005 and up QQ ....

    I put bread in my toaster once and set it for too long. I ate burnt toast :(

    It seemed like the right place to vent.

    hahahahahaha one time i was making a sammich and i tried toasting the bread in the toaster. It was like thick italian bread but I sliced it thin hoping it would work. Idk what I did wrong but every time I got it out it was completely charred (i had it on like half of what i normally put bread in for) and i burnt my finger on it. I raged soooo hard!

    Btw 2.5 hr download for pwi... b:sad

    I used to cry about lost files from computer crashes. Then I took an arrow to the knee with a note pasted to it: Backup, silly. And lived happily ever after.

    I love how proficient our mods are at managing the forums. Necros and spam threads are still up. :3

    The only time I pay fullprice was 1. For my boyfriend's christmas present, he wanted Battlefield 3, 2. My dad just bought me the new Zelda game & strategy guide.

    Losing your programs does suck... I lost a nice 3D drafting program, Adobe Premeire, Photoshop, Multiple games, and a bunch of other software, plus over 8G of music files, over 5000 pics, and about 300G of anime the last time I got the blue screen of death.

    And yeah, play skyrim. just play it. You can always just download it and pay $0 if you want.

    TBH, you did buy it before...so downloading is not morally wrong in this case. As for the virus risk...well you can generally trust the huge ones with lots of comments + ratings. But yeah, there's always a risk lol.I've downloaded Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Acid pro, Skyrim, Spore, Starcraft, WC3, COD4, COD MW2, BF2, Counterstrike Source, Halo, Left 4 dead, l4d2, Guitar Pro 5, Office 10, Limbo. No viruses.
