I've been thinking about this for awhile, so I figured I'd throw it out and get other people's opinions on the idea. I was inspired by VenusArmani's thread (An awesome thread, by the way.) and decided to run with it. Most of the weapons/armor/accessories/ect. are based after deities, actual weapons, or concepts, so I thought giving a little background to the items themselves (origins and such not) would be rather interesting.

Here's an example, and I'm quite literally picking items at random, Dialectician's Sinh. A Dialectician is a type of philosopher that views the world in terms of thesis/antithesis/synthesis. In other words, within a thesis lies an antithesis and when these two "come to terms" with one another via synthesis, yet another one emerges. Think of it as a cycle or, in practical terms, as an argument that spawns another one.

Example: A and B are arguing, A suggests something to B, B agrees with A and they come to terms with another, but, in coming in terms with one another, they bring up yet another point. The cycle continues.

A is thesis
B is antithesis
and the solution is synthesis.

Sinh is an abbreviation of Hyperbolic sine, which is part of algebraic equation, which I won't get into because I positively suck at math. So, long story short, the armor is a fusion of elements and designations.

(P.S: I really, really, really suck at math. Sorry. -_-)

And I'm guessing you're asking if you should do screenshots explaining what different items meaning are, kinda like I explain different words meaning using screenshots? If that's what you're asking, then definitely.b:victory And I didn't know that about that robe, that is really interesting! Its kinda amazing the depth of this game if you stop to smell the roses.

Ick, I apologize for being so vague, I was really tired and was about to go to bed. Well, basically, I randomly pick an armor/accessory/weapon (or you can suggest one if you so desire. ^_^) and I will give you the meaning behind them. And, Venus, if you want to put it as screen shots that would be awesome to me. ^_^

So, yep, that's meh idea. Venus stated it the best, though. Again, I do apologize for the wording of my post. X_X

Also! Today I will use...

Sakayumini's Light- (Magic Sword)

Sakayumini is another word for Siddhattha Gotama (Śākyamuni means Sage of the *Śākyas*)
so, thusly, this sword probably carries his knowledge and wisdom and confers it to the wielder.

*Shakya, incidentally, are an ancient tribe from which the "original" Buddha (Siddhattha Gotama) emerged. (Most historians are in agreement that Lumbini, Nepal was Śākyamuni
birth place.*


And that is all. Feel free to give me ideas and screenshots to Venus so she can make them super awesome. (My Photoshop skills are fale. XD)

In addition to this, I don't mind looking up the accesories/armor/weapons if you don't mind me taking a little time in which to do so. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go crumple in a corner...

might be tricky tho since all the newer stuff are named with more modern names ;o

one of the things i found weird was that TT100 Sinrabansho was a japanese one (Shinrabanshou) Seems like they hava ton of diff. cultures melded into the names o.o

And that's what really piques my interest! I'll do some research on that tomorrow. ^_^ Meanwhile, I must go to bed.

Ah, I was hoping you'd make the screenshots. XD If there a couple that you would like to see made though, lemme know. Starting next week though, since finals are coming up. @.@ Although the last two are probably more difficult than others would be. I suppose you could do something with one of the sages. And I actually am terrible at photoshop, I use a site called Pixlr which is a bit easier to understand. I tried to use gimp once, but the menus intimidated me. XD

Oh, I can take the screen shots! I apologize for sounding so lazy. XD Yep, yep. And it may take me awhile, too, because of work and time restraints due to work. -_-; And you're amazing in Pixlr, then! Yeah, I tried GIMP before, and it was a bit..O.o-ish. I was expecting to hit the self-destruct button by accident browsing through the menus. XD Due to my brain being sucky and grumpy, I really can't think of anything, right now. Good luck on finals, Venus! I know you'll do great, but I also know how stressful they are.
