Which genie for interval sin

I'm having bad luck with my current genie, and considering making a new main genie. What I'm wondering, is which genie should I choose, which stats to put on it, and which skills to learn it.

Sorry for being such a n00b, but I have rather little experience with genies...

    For a main genie, I would always take a zeal because they have Earth Flame (which is the luring skill). Ofc it's not mandatory and besides de first skill (that can always be deleted if not usefull) there isn't that much difference between the genies. Just a few stat points which influence a little at start, but not much at 90+.

    I don't know what lvl your sin is, but just for simplicities sake I consider genie lvl100. I always want them to have 40 vit points and 50 mag points at least. For the rest it depends on the skills, the lucky points,genie gear you can afford, and the actual use you want your genie for. But that minimum will grant a decent recovery and enough energy for most skills/combos. After that I would recommand to choose 1 stat point to focus on :
    - Mag to have a high regen which allows you to use skills frequently. Usefull PvE soloing mostly.
    - Vit to be able to spam several skills in a row. Usefull if you picked skills as combos.
    - Dex or Str if you have a few skills on your genie that benefit from those a lot. For sin, there would be the example of tangling mire that improves a lot on a high str genie.
    N.B. : ofc you can try to up more then 1, but I don't think that is a good idea unless you have a high lucky point genie and the coins to get good genie gear.

    As for skills, some options :
    - tangling mire, as it stacks with physical defence debuffs from players (like devour).
    - extreme poison, a small amp but without the chi cost of subsea.
    - enrage/frenzy (dunno what the name is ingame atm), which is nice to up attack but be carefull if you are not buffed.
    - holy path, actually completely useless but so addicting to run fast.
    - absolute domain, has so many uses that I couldn't do without anymore.
    - earth quake, if you like to solo (to cancel casting of bosses) or a total nirvana addict.
    - bramble rage, if you want an extra aoe.

    Thank you for very good suggestions. I'm only lvl 75 atm, so I have time to try out a few things.

    Looks like there is a few skills that every sin-genie should have, so I will be getting those. The rest I just have to take a look at, and figure out what suits me. But atleast now I have a good place to start :0)

    i noticed you dont have extreme poisen

    is there a reason for that, i would have assumed its one of the skills you always want to have
