Does Edged Blur work against bosses?

I read that Edged Blur doesn't draw aggro and wanted to test it. So I needed a mob which doesn't aggro due to proximity. Many low level mobs are like this but I figured they would get one shotted by EB and so I wouldn't be able to tell if they were aggroed.

So I remembered about the Obsidian mini bosses which don't attack unless attacked first and decided to try EB on them.

My results leave me curious and wondering if anyone knows the full story on how EB works. First I tried EB on the Obsidian Spellbound mini boss and saw red numbers on the screen indicating damage done. But the bosses HP numbers didn't go down. Well, I think they might have the first time I tried which makes it weirder, but the other times they didn't.

I tried nearby mini bosses such as the Obsidian Frostbound and the Guard- Ancient Star Gate. Edged Blur did not draw aggro or cause their HP to decline or make the red damage numbers appear in the air.

I'm curious because up to now when I'm not the tank I've tried to avoid drawing aggro by using my sparks for Edged Blur instead of sparking. But if it doesn't even do damage to bosses then thats a waste.

And its well known that EB damage doesn't show up on the damage log so that source of info is gone.

I wonder, if this skill doesn't draw aggro then a large enough number of seekers could kill a boss without taking a single shot back. I wonder if to prevent this they made EB useless against bosses. As it is its obviously mostly a pvp skill anyways.

from what I've experienced, EB is like an invisible char / entity hitting the target, which does explain the no-damage log.
if you put a bunch of seeker using EB, no one will get exp or drops, because in fact, no one have aggro. It wouldn't really work also, the target would keep reseting it's hp.

But once you hit first, then use EB, you'll see the hp going down.

i tried once for fun in a bh51 to jump in a pack of mobs and edged blur. Had to use darkcloud thunderbolt to stop the mobs to go to cleric <.< (edged blur had hit the mobs)

so yeah, it does not create aggro

Personally you're better off using your 2 sparks to boost your damage or Vortex. Edged blur just isn't good enough to be a two spark skill.

It's useful in PvP to **** off stealthed sins, especially since (until next expan) it is the only skill that doesn't require a target to cast.
Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

Hmmm... lol and here all this time I thought you could only pull off that move with genie skill cloud erupt. Thanks for clearing that up as I now know I can trigger a devastating edged blur/vortex combo while saving my genie energy for other things (not to mention you've just pointed out yet another reason why demon seeker = fail b:avoid ).
