    Here's the thing though. That genie is a full mag/vit genie. Wind shield reduces damage by ~17% with my dex. Am I not allowed to use a genie skill to tank a demon spark, which gives you *news flash* 3 whole seconds of warning that a huge spike is coming?

    If your R9 +12 full JoSD sharded arcanes are getting instantly charm bypassed by triple sparking nirv dag sins because they just stand there waiting to die, then I really have to doubt the pvp ability of your server's best geared arcanes.


    Again. My original statement is that I have tanked +12 nirv dags on my mystic personally. Evanera laughed at this and stated what I just said was impossible, and that I would be instantly killed. I then made a video showing me doing it. Where am I being proven wrong?

    No argument there. I've personally been insta-killed by +12 R9 daggers in a single shot, while fully buffed, more than once.

    Them zerks and attack levels really, really hurt b:sad.

    Nope, I actually don't have a job at the current moment, but I also have an economics degree, as well as 3 semesters away from graduating with another in Computer Information systems.

    I was actually laid off from my first job, took various lower-wage jobs, and decided to move back in with my parents and re-enter school for a more jobs-focused degree. So I AM living with my parents currently, but who are you to say that just because it's been hard to find a job and that I can't afford both school tuition and a house at the same time that I'm suddenly a loser? Because I spend some free time playing a game I enjoy?

    The PVP server attitude is ****. The fact that everyone is forced into PVP mode does not make your players better or more knowledgeable. Only the ignorant use server as an excuse to attempt to trash talk.

    Also Evanera doesn't PK. It's possible when he still did nirvana daggers could bypass charm, but outdated knowledge isn't wrong, it's just outdated.

    Fine. I'll admit that the pvp server excuse is a bit corny and kind of like beating a dead horse.

    TBH, a good player who's willing to fight and practice pvp over and over again, then take a step back, analyze his mistakes, and try to correct them, will eventually become good at pvp, regardless of server. There have been incredibly bad players on pvp servers, just like there are incredibly bad players on pve servers as well.

    In any case, the servers *still* aren't up, I always try to stay up on tuesdays at least to log in so I can set up my shop (profits are best when there's no competition b:pleased), but apparently I've just been kinda wasting my time since PWI apparently can't bring the servers back up at a time they promised. I'm kind of in limbo right now deciding whether or not I should just go to bed and forget about my catshop. b:surrender.

    Aes, it's not outdated. Just not as common anymore, but still happens frequently.
    Example - someone like KT very often charm bypasses me from stealth (even if I am moving). Zuvis charm bypasses Gorg with def voodoo on from stealth (only sometimes). I already admitted in that other thread that a nirvana sin probably won't bypass a JoSD build arcane, and that my first claim about the subject was wrong, but he's so upset :(

    He also forgot to mention that the sin in his video has +10 daggers. b:chuckle

    I still PK, but there's barely anything these days. You should have been at west yesterday. Was some good fun there for a bit until it ended up being 8 +12 sins out there x_X

    I've been outside West with 5 sins. Scrubby is not only arcane, he is fully DoT, and doesn't get charm bypassed by nirvana daggers. It's only the r9 daggers that are problematic.

    I don't get charm bypassed either by nirvana daggers, and my pdef is comparable to his, though I have more HP.

    Although if there were that many sins, I'd say it's a good thing I missed it.

    I'm waiting tables atm. It pays a LOT better than minimum wage, since it's a tip-driven job. Most months I can bring in ~$2000. That's still not that much in this economy, and certainly not enough to support a family + house + car + bills.
