Spiritual Cultivation

Hey Guys,

New player here, started few days back as a seeker. Tried to search forums for answer to my question but could not find any relevant answer.

So far I have been leveling doing solo quests.

The only problem, I am facing is that I always find that I do not have enough spirit to learn all the skills available on my level. I have done all the spiritual cultivation quests applicable till my level and I am not lagging behind there.

So three questions:

1. Has the game been designed like this where I can not learn all the skills and must choose only the best skills, or am I doing something wrong here?
2. Is there anyway to unlearn some skills and free up spirit to spend on new skills without using any cash shop item?
3. Is there anyway to farm spirit apart from the spiritual cultivation quests?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

    You need to prioritize skills.

    2. Is there anyway to unlearn some skills and free up spirit to spend on new skills without using any cash shop item? NO

Yes, any grinding and almost all quests give you both XP and Spirit. If you die you lose XP but not spirit.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

    Replies in red ^^.

Pretty much - yeah. It's intended that you have to pick and choose your skills. Unlike most 'skill point' systems, however, you will eventually have enough spirit to learn *all* of your skills.
But on the way there you have to choose which ones you like best. Remembering that you have to buy at least one level of the previous skill.

You can also farm spirit by using your genie... right click your genie avatar, select EXP infuse, check the Infuse with EXP radio button, click Level Up to feed a chunk of EXP to your genie (enough to give it one level, or all your current EXP, whichever is less) or alternatively hold down Infuse until the desired amount of EXP is reached then click Confirm.

b:shocked Um, that is NOT farming spirit. That is leveling your Genie and giving away XP to do so. It doesn't increase the amount of Spirit you have but merely reducing the amount of XP.

True, but it IS a method some people use who are absolutely intent on lvl'ing their skills as much as possible instead of their character. I've known people who ran FF repeatedly, (enough that they would've lvl'd probably a dozen times), only to dump every bit of exp into genies specifically so they could build up enough spirit to learn skills. I personally don't recommend it, as most players will end up with an overabundance of spirit by the time they reach 100, but to each their own I suppose.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I guess that for now I will have to choose the best skills.

Infusing XP to a genie will stop my lvl up, so will not be doing that for now.

It doesn't directly increase your spirit, but it does increase the amount of spirit you gain per level.

What you are saying is misleading especially to Newbies. Technically you can also gain more spirit per level by dying a gazillion times so that all you accumulate is spirit. This is not the definition of FARMING more spirit.

There is no benefit in holding back leveling in lieu of being able to learn more skills and at later levels, you will have an overabundance of spirit and can learn every single skill to the max if so desired.

There are a few areas such as FF where the ratio of Spirit to XP gained is higher than normal. To the OP if you really want to get your spirit fast, do FF powerlevel runs - Bigroom to End. I think the Last Bosses .. Holeen gives and inordinate amount of Spirit.
