Endgame build thoughts

How good will this be going up against r9's? Is it worth doing? It is with all level 10 buffs aside from demon Stone Barrier. Any opinions would be appreciated.

The thing that R9 gives is attack and defense levels, which multiply your damage and defense massively.

As people have told me, you may as well spend the $$ your are spending +10ing your get and put it towards at least the R9 ring and weapon.
Armour would be ok, but again, full R9 set gives awesome set bonuses

Basically this. It would make sense if you had other magic characters (cleric, veno, mystic, psy...) you want to play on the same account. Then it's a good option. I wish my R9 set was accountstashable :S

you're lvl 22, worry about getting that into tripple digits. By the time you get there you'll understand that the build above is just an over expensive piece of ****. For the cost of gems and refines on it you can get r9 that refines better, offers much, much better defenses and comes with full 4 sockets.

Edit: so i was bored, here's what you can do :

although it looks like is weaker than your build, this is actually better. Look at attk levels : 70 more attk levels than your initial build, that means 70% more damage. Look at defense levels: 39 more defense levels, that means you get 39% less damage.
Now while your build is kinda' maxed, this one (except neck and cape which i kept ) is just at +5 all over with immac citrines in it. So much more room for improvement with big returns for small investments. Now I hope you understand why I said your build is just a piece of **** and in no way an endgame build. I'm actually 100% sure I could one shot you with my build with a non crit undined DP.

And why would you ever do pangu instead of voidlands? -1% channel isn't worth 200m imo, but you never know what you crazy DW wizards are doing, with your garnet gem'd weapons n stuff b:surrender

Like when I said elemental shell is not terribly useful. You'd have thought I said hitler was simply misunderstood.

lol, yeah those garnets, dunno, but hey, more phys attk is always good. Or not?

Why pan-gu? simple: cheapest way to have a 5 aps toon that you can share that nice +10 neck with. Let's be serious, to get that kind of gear on a wizard you need an aps toon to farm your brains out or just slide a CC for like what, 3k? I have no idea.

instead of pangu, use the LA interval legging, it cost like 80m for bound pants and 100 for unbound. So you can use it on Barb,archer,BM,Sin or any APS class. ....................................................as a Merchant, i say pangu and scroll tome is overpriced. Because u can get 5APS without em.

Why the garnets?
I'm putting +115 HP shards in all my 16 R9 slots and Wind cape and eventually the helm (holding out for a nice lvl 15 helm in some future update like the lvl 15 cape they recently did making the lvl 13 Wind-charger(?) one 2nd best).
I should have over 14-15K HP (+10 all armor) with lvl 11 barb buff.
You need to keep from getting one-shotted that's the key. As long as you don't get one-shotted your charm and pots and genie can keep you going.

I prefer a mixture. 12k hp is of no use if sins keep hitting you for 15k. Pdef on wizards is pretty useful since it gets multiplied so much with Stone Barrier.

as an actual player that farms the **** you merchant I can tell you right now is not overpriced. For you merchants everything is overpriced when you need to buy it and underpriced when you need/want to sell it b:victory.
LUAD or Pan-Gu bring as much to wizard as to any other class.
I have one and of course I enjoy the 26 magic, 13 vit and 2 crits I get from it. Why wouldn't I? what other tome could give me this? On both my aps toons, sure I can be 3.33 base without the tome, but you know what? The tome , cube neck and Wsng belt move around with the luxury of a lot better defenses and a hefty increase in HP for each of them. Worth it? hell yeah!

If your number one problems is sins than I see your point.
Those damn R9 +12 Psychics one shoot anything under 12K HP on Lost in TW. Even R9 arcane wizards. b:sad

Pshh, psys. Get a TW genie with Oxygen Bubble on it and play a bit defensively. Earth spells are a lesser problem due to Stone Barrier. Ya I know they hit hard, a big percentage of my deaths in TW are to psys as well. But that's also because they tend to have the best gear. Or had, when I was still fighting Triforce. There were chezes psy, zerhees psy, MageFishban, Ungrateful etc... I also died to their top geared wiz.
