Yep, understanding the basic skills of each class is the only way to successfully fight them since sometimes the skills you will use will depend on that. Learning about other classes attack and def skills effects, cooldowns, etc is as important as knowing your own :p

P.S. Unless you pve all the way, at that case you wouldnt really need as much knowledge of other classes but just very basic stuff like what is dg, healing, etc But even then to successfully work in teams for pve stuff you would still need a bit of knowledge from other classes.

Sin can't get rank 9 because it's a farmer? Ironically Sin's the easiest class to get r9 due to their farming ability. Most, like you, just chose not to because they prefer hurrrdurr. I've never played a Sin? I guess this forum icon just appeared on my account randomly. I was dropping people 20 levels above me, before your Sin even existed, mainly due to how broken the class is.

LA is only good on Archer? Funny how LA is the same stats for both class, so ofc they only work for Archer, a class with 2 control skills, instead of Sin who's got 5. Ofc they don't work for a class that you can't even stun half of the time or live after 20k damage. Why would they work for a class with such overwhelming control skills and dps that their opponents are too busy kitting the dps or just plain out can't attack? IG less and stunlock moar. But if you have the brain for that we wouldn't be having this convo in the first place.

How a Sin is suppose to take on a R9 Psy? (no spark in stealth hurrrdurr)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btCHz6BXK2I

There's also a vid of cheze completely rolling a r9 +12 wiz, at first with interval then with chill of deep and skill spamming. But I can find it right now just using my phone. You have always been a baddie, go learn your class.

"Unless go +12 Sin is 2 hit" OH you mean just like other classes that runs around with +5 armor and try to take on r9s? What an injustice game that Sin with +5 armor can't take hits from +12 weapons. Wow such an underpowered class!

(I got a feeling that this entire post was pointless because he wouldn't understand half of what I just said)

    REVERSEE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I seriously wonder: people who don't RPK, if you play the board game "Sorry!" and you roll the dice so that you land on an opponents piece and send it back to the beginning, do you sincerely apologize and ask everyone if you can have a do-over roll so you can give your victim another chance? It's a god damn game..

Nyxyo, sure a sin will die in 1-2 shots if you go out unbuffed, don't even bother to use deaden nerves, and expect to survive in LA just because you have stealth and aps.

Just today I fought this sin named Guna a couple times. In these fights he did the following:

always had full cleric + barb buffs

used Shadow escape in every fight

used occult ice every 15 seconds (basically on cooldown)

double sparked from stealth every time

used ironguard in 50% of the fights

has +12 R9 weapon and I estimate at least 13-14k hp with his buffs

I lost like 6 out of around 7 fights.

Can I call that skilled? I'm not sure. He abused everything that's OP about the sin. The losses felt cheap to me, given the fact that I auto-lose if even a *single* cc lands on me (and given the fact that he has around 7 control skills, it was only a matter of time). With his evades and hp, it took anywhere from 4-5 nukes just to have a *chance* at killing him. That's just breaking the charm cooldown time. On two occasions in one fight I watched 6 of my nukes go through without killing him (nv, thicket, nv, nv, nv, bramble, gale force). That's 12 seconds of uninterrupted dps with a R9 +10, on a "squishy" sin.

I die if I stand still for longer than 3 seconds.

Are sins broken? Only if they are smart enough/choose to use everything that's available to them. A sin who abuses all of his resources is near-unbeatable 1v1, in the current state of the game.

So I read the chinese skill descriptions of the new skills that just came out. I just skimmed over it but here are some interesting tidbits:

For the mystic, the anti-stealth skill is instant-cast, with a cooldown of 90 seconds.

Detects all stealthed enemies within 50 meters for the mystic only.

For 6 seconds, also forces all stealthed units that come within 25 meters to become visible to all. The enemy will not be unstealthed if it's level is higher than the caster's lvl.

I guess Nyxyo was right. Wiz get some skills that may actually make them OP enough that they'll actually look forward to fighting (stupid) sins, since it's already ridiculously obvious how to bypass their auto-purify.

We'll just be seeing more Sage sins that stack attack levels (chill of the deep, frenzy, DoTs) who go for a one-shot kill rather than 5aps occult ice hurrrdurrr.

Or demon Sins? Common misconception: You need to be sage to stack attack levels in Chill, or that sage gives a huge advantage in DPH.

It doesn't even have to be one shot kill anyways since Sin's got enough control skills to perma disable.

It's more for the overall benefits. 66% chance of resisting things like stun (so you can easily retreat), the extra dagger damage, the extra attack levels, etc. If you're gonna aim for a certain purpose, might as well not half-*** it.

I know the overall benefit of sage Tidal/Focus Mind, but that's independent of DPH vs interval build. People always think sage when talk about DPH, even though demon Wolf Emblem and higher crit % balance out the ~6% higher DPH from sage CoD + Mastery, which make either cult fit for spike damage build.

Disabling heals, and requiring 3 seconds of standing still to come out of metal mage form, makes it pointless for anything other than 1v1 vs other clerics or mystics, and possibly barbs. I think clerics got shafted the most in this update; sins come 2nd, but in all honesty they don't need any help.

I think venos and wiz came out the best here...their frog skill is 28m range and fast cast, and their tree skill seems incredibly useful to take out priority targets, especially psys (no more having to deal with seal...just hit the tree...)

As for my class mystics...their 3rd eye seems decently powerful in west arch pk. Star Priarie.... Being able to absorb 40% (at +12) of all heals/charms in a AOE range also seems decent, especially since the tether range extends to 45m. This makes mystic a higher priority target, yet absorbing all heals makes them harder to kill as well(but we'll have to see how they apply the healing). The heal buff is nice, and kind of counters the mystic's battlefield healing debuff thingy.

Their aoe heal kind of sucks. I'm assuming it heals ~6000 a tick every 3 seconds for 12 seconds for all squad members, but it's on a 1 minute cooldown, takes 2.4 seconds to channel, and costs 1 spark. TBH ironheart is still better than this souped up aoe version.

I suppose a squad of clerics in metal mage could be useful to instantly take out cata barbs. Just have all of them apply their debuff at once, and since it stacks, the barb gets no healing for the next ~20-40k hp. Then again, a squad of 6 mages would probably be better...b:surrender

Skill-spam sins are not really viable for anyone decently geared. They will own non R9's, though.
