Hey all, I used to play this game about 1 to 1 and a half years ago. I stopped playing because I found the time it was taking to level up and get gear for my character was literally taking me days to do. I was thinking of coming back to the game for a little bit, but I have some questions before I commit to anything

1) How long does it take to get to level 80?
When I reached level 50 with the old Perfect World, I found that leveling became very difficult. It would take me days on end just to level up once I hit 70. Is it still incredibly time consuming to level your character?

2) How does TW work?
I stopped playing the game right about after they remade the TW system so that instead of giving money, it gave mirage stones (I think that's what they were called). My main source of money was farming TT (I played on sanctuary and RT, I think It's called HH on the other servers), but nobody had money to really buy the TT mats I got because they messed up the TW system... Hence I had no money for my skills (cleric) and I couldn't really get a head anymore. Is there an easy way to farm up money at higher levels other than spending 2~4 hours doing one quest?

3) Class customization, has it changed?
When I played my cleric I could go one of two ways. I could have a pure cleric with lots of magic power, or a dex cleric with decent magic power. The problem I found with the whole way Perfect World constructed its classes is that you were really bounded to your class! As in, you couldn't somehow have a cleric that could take a lot of physical abuse (unless you went heavy cleric, which is the equivalent to having an assassin tank.) So are the way the characters level up still as hard set?

4) Do they still have the little yellow similes in chat?
I loved those...

5) How is the PvP system?
I remember the old (maybe even the current) pvp system was as follows: You go into PK mode, you fight, if you lose you had a chance of losing an item. However, you could also carry what I used to call "drop prevention items" which allowed you to keep everything you had even if you were killed. [I thought that whole concept was dumb because Perfect World was nothing but a bunch of people PKing each other but nobody actually lost anything. There should have been a gold reward or something, the whole item loss prevention items were counter intuitive to the whole concept of pvp... sry about that lol!]
So my question is, is the system still based on the whole I kill you and take your stuff method?

6) Quests?
I remember some of the quests would take for ever (chain quests where you did nothing but run around and kill 30 mobs at a time). Are they, for the most part, still like this?

That's all I got. Sorry the post was so long, it's just I've been out of the loop for a while and was hoping someone could fill me in.

Cheers!

    1. It takes fairly quickly now to level to 100. Most people buy hyper stones and head into FC. That plus crazy stone, head hunter, world quest, and normal quests if you choose to do them will get you there fairly quick.

    2. When they did that, people stopped TWing, so they had to bring back the coins reward system again. So it is back to how it was before. People don't use TT mats much anymore sadly because they tend to go straight to rank gear nowadays since the R9 came out. I personally still use TT, so you might be able to start that up again for those people who do use it, but most people are rank gear.

    3. Characters still are built the same way as before, no change there.

    4. I'm pretty sure they do. =P

    5. PvP is the same, except the fact that most people pking have R8 or R9. That hasn't changed.

    6. Quests are still like that. They added the EG and TB quests that are really easy, but its basically all the same.

    =D

Ok thank you. I think I'll download it and see how it goes. I'm happy they brought back the TW system to the way it was before. I hope my old characters are still up >.<
