Kinda In a Bad Spot...

So i want to play my veno, which is a 31 with lvl 12 herc (got it a looooooong time ago) and im having serious trouble leveling it up, and losing alot of cookies to keep it nice and fed. I cant enter cube yet sadly, so idk whether i should maybe get fc heads to lvl (maybe it'll lvl pet too) in order to get to the cube or what. Any suggestions expert venos?

    That's hard to say.. I didn't get my herc til 60ish, but I would never recommend heads early on for anyone who doesn't know the class well. So that depends on how well you know the veno. Beyond that, I'd just say play with a different pet until you hit 40 and can go into Cube to level it.

    I got a tome , any one will do, as long as that is equipped you wont have to feed the herc unless he dies.

    I have a herc and a nix both my level, I leveled them by grinding, although its slower this way you make tons of coins.

    If they have the snowman event this year, that's a wonderful way to level pets also. The snowmen are ? level so they give the full 15 exp to your pet each time plus you get enough chi stones to feed your genie for the next year.

    Kill low level mobs (about the herc's level) which you should be able to do quickly without using a pet. Once you've gotten up to mobs you can't solo without getting hurt, the herc should be able to tank easily.

    Well I had a tome before and it didn't keep my pets fed. Sad. :( lol

    I'd recommend grinding or doing kill quests with mobs around at the pets lvl or a couple levels higher... then when you're high enough, go to Cube and go to room 3, and just spend the day there lvlling your pet. I was able to lvl three pets from lvl 50s to lvl 73 in a couple of days.

    ^ what this person said. its really... really, not that hard to lvl a herc from 12->31 ... go kill nub mobs outside arch.. and work your way up to higher ones, a few lvls above the hercs lvl.

    I'd wait until PWI releases the snowmen this year and buy a tome if I were you.
