Why do you need to reset your skills? PWI makes it so that you can get every single skill relatively easily, if you can farm the coin/spirit.

Other of PWE's games determine your focus based on what skills you choose... thus why the ability to reset.

    +1

Also when you advance latter on your main problem will be coins, not spirit.

The only point to this would be to keep certain skills at level 1... which is honestly kinda **** for most skills aside from saving MP on certain ones prior to getting Demon/Sage skills.

But since you can get all your skills completely maxed out anyways unlike certain other MMOs where you have a set amount of skill points (or where the skills you choose determine how you can proceed in things) a skill reset here would be mostly useless.

Actually, I don't think it would be that bad of an idea. Say I'm playing a character, and I supposedly **** up by using skills that aren't even recommended and wasted my time and coin. I think we should at least have the option for a second chance, kind of like the stat reset item.

I, and i think alot of clerics with me, would love the idea. Do you know how many people scream: "Rez me!" at you? Or something like that. I would give alot to be able to get my rez skill back to lvl 1 again, so they can also feel how we feel when we die.

What a selfish Cleric you are. You do realize that just to spite the few annoying rude people, you also nerf the rezzes you give to your squad and Faction mates. Anyway if you were smart just get a max level Mystic rez buff. Or maybe learn to play your class and not die so much.

I have a 8x Cleric with maxed rez and I enjoy knowing I am saving the hard earned XP of someone I rez.

I can see how it would be useful. I regret ever getting Soul Degeneration on my veno and leveling most of my fox skills for the most part. I never use fox form, it's not suited to my play style at all and the skills are pretty useless to me. I'd love to get rid of them or drop them back to level one to focus on my Scarabs. b:surrender

First of all, i don't die alot, but if i do it doesnt just stay 1 time (with some exceptions whn i do something stupid). When someonne else dies i hear "omfg i lost a friggin 0.1% exp u fail ccleric!!!" I dont think you can actually blame me fo wanting them too lose the full thiing. And you dont have to worry about my friends/fac mates. 1 because my 'fac' only consists of me and a friend and 2 because my friends die very rarely.

Sorry for typos, typing on a tab is not so easy xD

I would like to be able to get an item that allows you to increase or decrease your skill level to a previously discovered one. EG, someone's being a jerk in squad, level 1 rez for you. Someone's being awesome and you did something stupid that caused the problem? Sage Rez for you. :D It would only work if you had previously learned that skill level (so you can't use it to artificially level skills beyond what you've actually learned) To be honest though, this would mostly just be good for cleric trolling.

Having reset options for some things but not for others reeks of poor game design. I've been on the edge of quitting this game and I think this flaw just pushed me over it.

You can make all the excuses you want, and say just grind more but that's really not an option for people whose playing time is limited. Especially since questing in this game is nothing more than grinding as it is. Incredibly boring.

Plenty of other games in the multiverse. Hasta la vista.

@beerbellian I dont see how it's bad design. it's a game, not a text editor... and having some tough decisions lets you immerse further in the game world imho. sage/demon conversion wasnt possible for a loong time; it was supposed to be a final choice.

grinding? wth are u talking about? what lvl are u? there's hardy any grinding after 40 and 1-40 should be really fast... ok, at 35-40 was when you run out of quests and had to grind a bit some years ago but now there are those fantasy fruit bags that should keep grinding to a bare minimum...

in any case, i dont see the point of not having a skill reset but dont consider it essential either...

that would be perfect for psychis too; sometimes u dont want all the 66 def lvls of white voodoo, just a bit so u can survive and still deal good dmg.
