    Does anyone else find it funny that HT was able to have a decent discussion about TW related inquiries without getting it locked, while at the same time a certain someone did not take part in said discussion?

    I still think our bid on Etherblade was completely stupid though..

    Why did nobody bid on us? I mean..I know it is Thanksgiving weekend, but with that big of a holiday, you would expect Enrage to not be able to field 130+ people for it = easy land loss?

    Mono has to farm to fund new recruitments ... gg 2x

    Bidding on any land is stupid, as any 1v1 lasts shorter than the time it takes to set up TW. But not bidding will cause QQ too so....What's your point?

    Besides, Enrage's priority is getting TWs, not collecting property tax.

    Rad would of bid if others would bid on enrage as well. Since nobody did, we didn't either. I don't care about losing, but atleast it should be a fight that's atleast worthy. Same for not bidding on dominus, why bid on them if they no show, or if they show, it's just a roll over that's not worth it. And then there's thanks giving... not really a reason though. We'll still show for ether, but QQ i won't be there b:sad

    As for gear, everytime i see people have to mention it. Think we should make a list of how many r9's per class are in the guilds or something? Might be interesting.

    I honestly think that Radiance should bid regardless if other bids were placed or not. Who knows, Radiance could have set the motions into other guilds bidding on Enrage; but not bidding just makes it seem like Radiance isn't willing to try for anything and would rather chance it with a gank.

    1. i guess everyone decided to take the holiday off. oh well
    2. love to see someone say they wont bid on us unless its a gank (though i dont really care about the comment too much as it wasnt from a leader)
    3. to Cotto, do they improve? no...its actually kinda like watching devolution in progress, really. 15 min TWs from the #2 faction is kinda...sad at this point.

    Faction's know they can't beat Enrage 1 v 1 and the action's of Enrage during those war's do not pertain to faction's falling over themselves to bid for a 1 v 1 in future.
    Enrage could camp outside their own base for an hour giving the opposition a perceived glimmer of hope while still increasing their own KDR, both faction's have fun thus making the chance of more 1 v 1 bids likely.
    But Enrage choose to go the least profitable route for fun, ofc that is their choice but the actions are what other's judge you by when weighing up the pro's and con's of bidding.

    we've tried that too, and what do you think the result was? more crying. Opposing factions go into the tw knowing they will lose. you can never win if you know your going to lose. TWs would be more fun for everyone if the opposing side didn't enter the fight already defeated, but its not our job to boost your self esteem.

    the reality is as it always has been, too many good players spread out across too many subpar factions, none of them willing to come together to fight the "big bad enrage". they would rather do ganks and still lose. meh. to each their own. no matter what happens, we are enjoying ourselves. it just could be a lot more fun than it is, thats all.

    wouldn't be so bad if some of the other groups weren't backstabbing bisches...


    the outlook of what is currently the "TW map" and what it will look like inside of a cpl of months, would be considerably different...possibly not, tho its like sayin "what the world would look like if Germany had won The War.

    also considering the "cant beat em join em" theory also...but its a game, and a lot of people have no room for loyalty and trying to make things work.

    True. Just like it's no other faction's job to boost your self esteem, e-peen or fun by bidding on you alone.
    You may not like it, you may argue about it but like I said you reap what you sow so there can be no complaints.

    For that to happen would take a new faction with the right mentality both inside and outside of TW ( Tw optional is a joke if you want to be a serious contender to #1 ) because let's be honest Radi is seen as to old school and conservative for many and GD are seen as to dickish. Dom/Drakon/WaR pretty much are non-factors.

    But with the state of the game as a whole who can be bothered ?

    yes, tw optional is a joke.. .a big joke in part because the phrase became so popular by the guild that was "here to destroy enrage" until...they couldnt. damn shame though. those few times we had 3 hr tws were a blast, if not somewhat frustrating. i love when someone can give us an honest challenge either on defense, attack, or both. *crosses fingers and waits for a challenge while slowly taking back our map*
