Str increases your base physical damage, which is a factor in all seeker skill damage calculations.

    Ex: Level 10 Gemini Slash:
Attacks the enemies within 12.0 meters to the target,
and deals base Physical damage, plus
450% of weapon damage, plus 4915.0.

It's true, 2 or 3 strength points don't add much on their own, but they add up. Strive for every point you can get!

None of the seeker skill descriptions suggests this is true.

You um... do realize how "base physical damage" is determined right? Basically it is a combination of your strength score, and the damage dealt by the melee weapon that you happen to have equipped at the time. So yes, a high strength score most definitely plays a factor in the amount of damage that seeker's attack skills do.

Anywhere it says "Deals Base Physical Damage" or "Base Damage" or "Physical Damage" or anything similar to that, you can rest assured that it is referencing damage based on both your weapon and your strength score combined.

The only time this is not true is if it specifically goes out of its way to say "Weapon Damage" in which case it only deals damage based on your weapon. Even Battosai, an attack that deals magic damage, technically uses your base physical damage to determine its actual damage output.

Your response is unintelligible unless I assume that without any reason to you believe my post was in response to the responses to the OP and not to the OP himself.

bhwa? The way you worded your response there was no way I could discern that you were responding to the OP. There is a quote button on this forum for a reason. I mean if you were responding to the OP why not just quote him and avert any unwarranted confusion as to whom you were responding to?

Would appear to be directed at this post....

However, if your first post in this thread was directed at the OP, you make even less sense.

Either way, your statement, "None of the seeker skill descriptions suggests this is true.", is totally false.
Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

TolanSky's explanation about how strength influence your skills was very intelligible to me... learn to read. You said you didn't see where, in the seeker's skills descriptions, something about strength was mentionned, and he was just trying to show you str does affect both skills and reg attacks.
Btw, your "Blade and Sword Mastery" skill is also taken into account in everything since it directly increases your physical attack when you're using swords.
