PWI cannot in good sense, pull the plug on this game

Whoa..whoa..whoa..put down the wallet. Step away from the monitor and breathe. The game isn't going anywhere, and the devs aren't going to kill themselves because a few angry customers are mad the game died like all these online games will eventually do. Even WoW while going strong now, probably isn't going to be around 100 years from now. At some point, all video games die. And that's okay. The money you spend here is NOT an investment. It will not help you grow money, you can't have it back. It's for entertainment. Enjoy the game while you can. And if the idea of the game dying really causes you emotional distress, it may be time to seek professional help. I'm serious. There is life after PWI for the customers and the employees.

The "world" will never know what PWI does. Because the "world" doesn't play PWI. The fact that PWI screws the entire playerbase over is an OPINION. If someone CHOOSES to spend money on this game. That's on them. Regardless if you think it's "fair". Frankly.. the "world" doesn't care an inch about PWI.

Trolling does not = giving your opinion. Trolling is obvious and blatantly disruptive. You are not trolling in my opinion.

They won't because it is still making money. Their other projects are still in the oven with no release any time soon. Also it would look pretty bad closing your flagship title.


If the game closes then I would imagine the company decided to ditch the whole international side... but it will remain in China!

...Maybe if you spent even half a second talking to people both in and out of the game you would realize that the "game is dead," talk is rhetoric and that the game has been "dead" since 2009. Hell, only a couple of weeks after the servers officially opened people were remincisng about the "good old days" in closed beta. There is absoultely ZERO evidence that the game is actually dying so this kind of thread is an extreme reaction out of NOWHERE. You talk as if they were any kind of credible rumors that the servers will be shut down. There have been NONE. At least among any faction where even once person can read English properly. Perhaps french and german as well, I don't know the activity of that playerbase/forum goers. If you talked to the same "game is dead" people and asked them if they were ready to "kill themselves" over their lost "investments" they would probably flat out laugh.

They have introduced an expansion almost once a year, every year since this game's release. They introduced a new server(s) every year since release. They are releasing a new expansion extremely soon.

There were rumours sins we're gettin nerfed almost every major patch since they were released too, doesn't make it true:P

And I can confirm Venus has been playing actively for quite some time, apparently longer than you if you still listen to rumours.....
