If purify doesn't count as a step of healing, then neither can you count anything that salvation does for that matter. Sally is a shield, not a heal. You're just mad because clerics use a smaller amount of skills at the same time, use up less mana, and rez better than a mystic does. Mystics take 4-5 skills to do the same thing that cleric does faster, stronger, more cost efficient and using only 2 skills. Not to mention clerics have a heal for every situation, including healing status ailments rather than just hoping that the tank outlasts them.

Also you're argument was the first to mention purify.

There's not even a contest. Clerics need purify to keep tanks alive on some bosses. -Mystics don't. Anyone who thinks Clerics can out heal a Mystics is a joke.
