Alright, joking aside, I just want a GM/Admin answer to the following, don't care if I personally like the answer or not, or if the answer is the same from previous responses, just an answer/update to the following questions, even if you have to restate it.


1. Why hasn't their been any action taken against those who used the FC glitch to lvl to 105, or to lvl brand news alts to 100 in a matter of days?


2. The promised DQ item mentioned in September and was implied to be released in October, why is it taking long? You don't have to mention the item itself, just wondering, is it coding issues, or China being slow on the delivering, etc, etc. I know a GM posted earlier saying it was "coming soon" in a post earlier today, but why keep saying "soon" for a few months now?


3. The infamous +11/12 sale. You guys said it caused client instability and pulled the sale in an emergency maintenance, what was the instability exactly? Just a simple client crash or some coding error to cause unwanted effects?


4. This question is a bit.....awkward but here goes, what happen to fun GMs? As in a random GM/Admin would say random things in the system announcement on the server in their red chat every so often. Why aren't there anymore fun from the GMs?


5. System Announcement messages that came about when the server resets for dailys long time ago, like the old "A new day has dawn on us." (or something like that) message. What happen to those? Do you guys have power over that or is it strictly something from China once again?


This is all I can think of currently, if any forum members have other questions, go on and post, I'm hoping this Q&A thread can............address some issues and concerns, and add more communication from the GM/Admins/Others.

My other 6 accounts got forum banned for bashing the company and this game. Some how they found out a way to stop me from making too much accounts to spam/ express my deep feelings, so i try to conserve my accounts i have already, until i feel the urge to unleash my powers ONTO THESE FORUMS! b:angry

One thing I find strange is the fact that when people QQ about duke shouting about this and that, it was always fixed by the next maintenance. (It seems that perhaps someone over here has a bit more control then they are letting us in on)

Not to mention the server going down for maintenance we used to get an hour's warning, that would pop up every ten minutes which pretty much ensured everyone knew/knows maintenance is coming, and yet we see a few complaints on the forums, and it gets changed by next maintenance. (I guess the QQ wins out over the sense in this case. xD lol)

To me it really seems like our main game master does have a bit more control about what can go in; however, I really don't know how much he or she does have... but when things like that get changed so rapidly can't help but wonder how if it takes forever for other things to get fixed/changed.

I do find it strange that they seemed to do little to nothing to reprimand those abusing that glitch... but as others said a perma ban is on the asinine side of things here... we would lose many players if people did get banned forever. (Really a reset of their exp gained would do wonders) Though I really don't expect them to name who, or even make the punishments known to the population as it would be breaking their own rules... (the naming and shaming) though that doesn't mean they couldn't say 'we have reset the levels/exp gain of all those suspected, and founded to be abusing this glitch.) Would do wonders for many.. legit peoples morale/hope for this game. (Perhaps even so for some of those that did indeed use this glitch.)

I found it hard to believe they asked us to screen shot people breaking this tos and then leaving... talk about just asking to be '****/'known as a tattle tale. ;/ xD

It's really hard to do it in any way that resembles "right" without upsetting a significant portion of the player base (either those who think it was too harsh or those thinking it wasn't harsh enough). Compounded with the delay in doing anything productive about the issue, I expect this to be a balancing act if they even ever approach it.

2. The promised DQ item mentioned in September and was implied to be released in October, why is it taking long? You don't have to mention the item itself, just wondering, is it coding issues, or China being slow on the delivering, etc, etc. I know a GM posted earlier saying it was "coming soon" in a post earlier today, but why keep saying "soon" for a few months now?

These sorts of "soon" tend to mean "we're waiting on the items we requested to show up in a patch... still..." b:surrender So once a patch comes out with the items they need (remember that the stuff from DQ rewards are supposed to be non-tradeable and stuff), they can then break... er... fix... the DQ rewards page to deliver them to players.

People rage at red chat, and mob on the GMs when they actually do show up in game. Of course, the proper answer is "make the GMs more visible so that people don't overwhelm them" but yeah... I would say that GMs in game are about as common as unicorns, but unicorns are now WAY more common. b:chuckle

See above about world chat raging at red chat. AFAIK, all red text of that sort is controlled by PWE (not China), unlike the stuff the Duke mouths off. But yeah, it'd be nice to at least have red text notifying us of server reset and upcoming server maintenance. We used to have both once upon a time... b:cry

And to make it perfectly clear, I have zero affiliation with PWE. I just have lurked around here (and pre-PWI Perfect World) for quite some time. b:victory

Go to the last post of any thread so u can watch the button w/o scrolling. And Click the REPLY button over and over and over and watch the Multi button...... clicking reply turns that on and off too...

Nice thread. Hope a gm or frankie will take this thread seriously and answer them honestly. But my hopes for that to happen are almost zero.

I'll try to answer some with my guess...

1. You know just as well as me that they won't do this. They don't want to ban their income. Maybe they mentioned it before, but that would just be to shut the masses and pray they stay quiet about it. Besides, many have used the glitch, even those who didnt hit 105 but hit 102-104. They should be banned as well. There is no way you can make it fair and ban every players who used this glitch, and i don't think it's in their powers to even see who really glitched or not.

2. This makes me wonder as well. Reminds me of r9 for EG b:surrender
An honest answer to this would be appreciated. Staying quiet about it is worse then being honest. But i do remember frankie telling us that the item would be implemented with the big patch we had. And that 1 week later it could be assed to the DQ shop, but still nothing.

3. Highly doubt it has anything to do with client instability. I don't think it's a coincedence that the sale has been taken away at the same time that pwi management staff has been fired? Heard one of the reasons was they didn't do anything to prolong the life expectency of the game, and this sale was disastrous.

4. When GM's are not on our server, they can't write messages either. My guess is, they don't have many gm's for pwi anymore.

5. Might have to come from china, but pwi staff might have overlooked this? It's easy to miss, especially if you don't play the game yourself.

Yes i agree, all plays who used the dragoon glitch should be banned.

As well as all players who exploited the aps game mechanics (which are more game breaking and changing than dragoons)

As well as all players who glitched their dq items from "non trade" to "trade"

As well as all venomancers who have pulled through doors

As well as any werebeast or werefox who shifted into animal form with a weapon not compatible (doesn't matter if it was an accident or not)

As well as all players who have glitched a boss on purpose

As well as any player who have on purpose exploited the cancel casting mechanic.

I am not gonna be happy until all this happens

Oh and maybe ban the players who glitched all the Scroll of tomes and 12 star orbs and bring them to justice.

Multiple reasons.. GM's are so overloaded with tickets, they can't even manage to man Live Chat. They don't have the time to do the digging to ban the thousands that abused this. Besides that, without having seen them doing it, something like that is not easy to find in the server logs. It's more effort than it's worth and they don't have time to waste on it.
Plus it would only be a temp ban anyway, you'll see a bunch of QQing about bans and 3 days later it will be back to normal.

Because frankieraye is a clueless lying basterd. They stated that it was being loaded in the big patch that we got a few weeks ago, and that we would see it in the DQ shop a week later. That's a definitive timeframe. They failed to meet it. And it's not like it's because CN hasn't sent us the data this time, it supposedly came with the new patch already. frankieraye is just showing us once again what a dipwad hi is.

It was the item bought from the boutique that was causing the client to severely crash when it was used. There was something wrong with the code. CN Dev's have not fixed it yet even on their end. This was announced already

They are so busy answering tickets that they don't have time to even do live support. This weekend BearClawRawr was on Sanctuary in PK having fun letting us try to take her down in groups. PWE does not want to hire more people for support, they would rather try to find ways to work around their (lack of) support issues.

LOL couldn't have said it better myself.... it's been what 2 weeks now? or 3? I lose track of time so easily...... b:surrender Could've sworn they said it'd take a week or less to test it then it'd go in the reward page........ Whatever it is it was SENT with the patch right? so wth?

I may have been a little harsh on frankie there, hadn't had coffee yet. Still, we were given an expectation and it failed. When it failed, for whatever reason, there should have been an announcement saying why it was delayed. Specifics, not your **** "soon" or "we'll get it when it gets here" **** that you like to spout frankie. It's not funny any more.

A proper response would have been, "We're sorry that we don't have the new DQ reward items available yet. Our web development team is having a problem with interfacing the items between the site and the server. We are working on resolving this issue as soon as we can. The ETA that I have currently been given is ___"

Unfortunately, that's too much for the GM's to manage. And it's not like they can't get that kind of information to share with us and let us know why we feel like we just got screwed.

Maybe if you had a better response frankie, we wouldn't ride you so hard for the BS you're constantly feeding us. Oh wait, if you had a better response, you wouldn't be constantly feeding us BS.

Do they ever actually answer any of the questions asked of them from what ive seen the answer is No so I doubt you will ever get a response to your thread. Im sure if they actually said Look were sorry its not ready blah blah instead of the constant false information were fed people wouldnt be so harsh towards GMs. I know personally I have no faith what so ever in anything they say as the majority of the time its mis leading or plain and simple ****. Hey I could be wrong and maybe as stated in an earlier post someone I think it was Shelly will let Frankie know about this post and he could amaze us all and actually respond to itb:laugh

Both Shelly and Kritty (which linked a similar thread like this one) to a GM already, or so they say. I'll be bumping this thread constantly, and it will get annoying. b:thanks
