both classes are good in pvp, neither are good in pve. i almost never use pots as a wiz cus sparks or sutra, + wellspring quaff give me plenty of mana between mobs. dont really need hp pots much cus mobs tend not to hit me b:victory

Look. what the biggest thread in these days? Sins of course with their stupid invisibility. As a wizard you have practically no chance. As a physic you have much bigger chance with end game gear. You can have almost 30% chance to seal them for 5s when they hit you + 10s immunity physical damage + 71 defense levels for free + 6s cooldown on charms, etc. What is counting today is just attack levels and defense levels. Maybe things will change after new expansion, but for now is path clear.

no mana pots for a magic classs LOL are u going to make a fist wizard? you have to use pots as a wiz/psy unless u wanna sit for hours b:cute and i have both psy and wiz if you like PK and you have decent gear pick a psy for the atk and def. lvl but if u wanna invest in BETTER gear roll a wiz and nuke em just learn your class well and if u can get past there stunlock alive they will rpobably be dead.. wiz just seal kill or sleep kill psy just use 10s inv. to wack and SoS proc.

Last time my wizard used an MP pot in PvE was..I don't remember?

Wellspring Quaff + Glacial Embrace + Constant sparking make me have too much mana.

As a psy you'll have faster casting spells and will go through mana way faster. Plus in black voodoo you can easily steal aggro and can get yourself killed.

    Oh really now?

If you use Glacial Embrace, then you are not under physical attack.

If you use "Constant sparking", then you not use AoE skills.

Then you kill mobs 1 by 1 or attacking boss.

You can't kill many mobs using such style (it is boring at least) and your drop at boss will be minimal if you DD (not tank) boss.

Right..because r9 wizards can only tank 1 mob? lol? Also your logic on me constant sparking and not taking aggro on the boss makes no sense. Also, I do most PvE instances in glacial embrace even if there's physical mobs, like SoT/Aba including RB. I don't even get near a charm tick without barrier on in RB having 95% of aggro on every wave.

@Dakill, it was more like..no sht sherlock? Though that was mostly me saying it thinking you were directing it to me.

Sorry, but if you are R9, then you not need any shield may be and just few spells to kill mobs and bosses.

I can't say that you are R9 Wizard just looking at your Venomancer's avatar.

    Ever heard of alts?

    Lol..few spells to kill bosses?

I mean Gush and Pyrogram, for example. You can cast them multiple times.

Other spells may be not necessary in R9 case.

You can use Dragon's Breath of course, then it will be one spell only.

Take it easy on Dakill - the obvious is one of his two specialties.

Its better than his other specialty - self-professed mastery of that of which he is ignorant.

To the OP, wizards are washed up, basically. If you want a class that you can play maybe 20 minutes a week in TW, feel free to roll a wizard.

Psychics aren't much better, but they are certainly better in other pvp, including against sins.

R9 or not r9, depending on the player's channeling, they can use the same skills. What difference does it make if I'm r9 alternating phoenix - pyro - gush and TT99 gear doing it? It's the same thing.

Na it wasn't directed at you, I just saw that no one else mentioned that psys use more mp or can steal aggro easier. The OP asked about just that and everyone was telling him about how great their wizard is on mp, with nothing being said on the psys behalf. So I was just clarifying.
