Doubt about banned accounts

Greetings to all,

I'm asking myself about this issue, since I can't find any specified information about it, and hope that someone can answer my questions.

Shared Accounts:
- I've notice in some polls, that is said that borrowing our own account is illegal, (I couldn't find this specified in ToS), but since it is said, i wonder if someone can be banned for it.
Can really someone have an account banned for it? Is it a temporary ban or is it a permanent one?
If it's temporary how long will it take to have it back?

I'll be grateful if someone can answer my questions :)

Thanks
-

Yes, you can and will be banned for sharing an account with another individual. I've seen factioneers get banned for that exactly, and no one even reported them - that's because according to what I understand, PWI can easily detect activity from different IP's on one's account, and will ban the account until it resolves.

As to why this is the case:
By creating an Account or otherwise using the Service, you represent that you are at least age 18 and agree to these Terms, or that you are over 13 years of age and your parents or legal guardian have read and agreed to these Terms, and you understand and agree that we are relying upon that representation in allowing you to use the Service. Only one person may use an Account.

This is found under 5. Account in the ToS.

yeah but you don't drive 400 miles to go to your friends. It's pretty easy to track an IP down to about 50-miles of where you live. In fact, you and your friend probably go through the same regional hub, so I'd say it's not likely that you will be much affected by that.

As far as the length of the ban, it varies based on the offence, and any bans you may have previously had. There used to be a chart, but I am unable to locate it at this time.

    a) They can easily track IP's and do so regularly.
    b) The time of the ban is determined on the severty of the violation. One member of a past faction was banned for a few days while the other was away for a month, both them and the person they were sharing with.
