confused by some skills

i was talking in my faction chat and heard something ****** weird x.x

supposedly, skills like battousai, heart seeker or ion spike have their damage influenced by your weapon physical damage but also by your magic damage......

can someone confirm what those higher lvl seeker said b:surrender

    The magic damage (metal) is calculated by your physical potential damage. Its like a Cleric that does physical damage with plume shot, is based on their magical attk amount.

    so those 'pro' actually know nothing about how their skills works? they were saying that a ring with both physical and magic bonus is good for seeker b:shocked
