levelling water pets with snowmen???

I was thinking that last year the snowmen spawned close enough to some of the water areas in Archasaur that i could go in the water and still hit them with a bow n arrows...

anyone tried this?

    It's possible.... but I don't think it would be that simple unless there's going to be a bunch of snowmen that spawn near the water for you to get exp for your water pet....

    Not much use for such a pet. Might better spend time raising another toon.

    ....just for the hell of it really....

    I have every other toon besides a wiz and i aint raising another one. Everyone can buy everything but I bet no-one else has a 9x pet turtle....

    i tried something similar to doing this but wasnt on snowmen, i forgot what it was on really. but about a few seconds after jumping out of water the pet went away. unless you plan on staying in the water too and attacking from water (if theyre even close enough) then it would work.

    Aside from using it on the final boss for tideborn treasures; I'd prefer the plumpfish for all else.

    Get r9+12, then the water mobs in oht will be just as much a 1-shot as the snowmen.

    And OontzOontz if I had R9+12 I'd never bother with mobs outside instances again.....

    And Vixter, yeah thats what I was thinking, staying in the water and shooting the snowmen - just as one of those little time wasters, to level my water pet......

    Does anyone know a water mob over 91 i can friggin lvl it on? there's the 91 undines in hell.... but 92+ they won't give the pet 15 exp....

    Then there's the lvl 100 Nightspike Cavaliers around the boss in Frozen River, they dont' even link, and i can shoot them to pull one out. But they dont' DROP anything..... then there's lvl 105 plumpfish in heaven... plumpfish....... ugh....

    There's gotta be another mob 92... 93+ isnt' there? b:surrenderb:sad

    The 105 plumpfish mermaids in heaven are melee only (no seal.)

    Get into map 2 and there's low HP [?] turtles and fish in the river.

    And May, how low lvl? I looked at every water based mob on the database lol Although i dont' have access to map two yet.

    There's two water mobs on map 2. Steelfin pike have 13862 HP, and ironshell turtles have 26412 HP. Like all map 2 mobs, they're level [?].

    I put a level or more on my turtle on the plumpfish mermaids in Heaven before I got map 2 culti done. (I'm waiting to get in another delta for map 3 access on that char, currently level 93 HA/AA herc/nix veno.)

    I didn't say there were. Map 3 has other advantages, I believe though, for a herc veno.

    Probably not worth it, but I leveld mine just for the heck of it.
    My turtle that started out as level 5 is now level 89
