Memorial coins with merit?

It was said that you could get the memorial coins with Merit (or use merit instead). Does anyone have information about this or can confirm/deny it?

    I'd also like to know what we can do with our merit points.
    And ive a further question: what's our motivation to lvl up guild base to lvl 30? Will dungeon quests give better/ higher rewards with higher guild base lvl? Will we just be able to get other **** like non-permanent g13 weapons for 1.2 billion coins? Has anyone a good link for more infos?
