Really, I'm already sick an tired of my freaking rank 9 daggers killing me, making me waste charms,guzzle pots, and hunger for chi.
Thankfully I still have my trustworthy nirvana daggers to heal me up when i need it and to provide stable trustworth damage.

Looks like the 5.0 rank 9 an 8 talk with the recasting has puffed into thin air......

    G13 never was king. You just need to know how to use R9 and shard your armor properly. And R8 recasting doesn't seem very difficult. Join active faction, farm faction base, get items, recast. Done.

    Imagine that, a 5 aps g15 dagger with gof isn't all that hard to get now is it.

    If with r9 he doesn't like GoF, then he'd hate it even more with 5 aps and lower dph ... hp/survivability wise, r9 is still the best weapon to have GoF on.

    Im pretty sure a 5 aps recasted R8 with Gof would out DD R9. And its the users HP that seems to affect Gof users more than the daggers theyre using.

    It'd be upgraded to G15, and 5 aps instead of 4.

    But yea, I retract my statement anyways. Getting Gof+ -.05 is next to impossible. I could buy 3 rank 9 daggers for the same average cost of getting those adds.

    Gof is easy, 11.1%... But -.05 is only .13%!! Come on thats silly. But with 1 unique and 3 randomd adds. You've got 3 chances to get that .13% each time. Still... thats a lot of recasts >_<

    2 mil per recast + cost of base mats.

    Using r9 myself and I think your reasoning is wrong. For the effect of GoF on your hp, dps (like you say "GoF 5aps recasted r8 would out DD r9") isn't what matters. Survivability wise, even with roughly same dps, dph > aps cause with GoF it's your bloodsuck per hit that matters more. I can clearly see the difference between sage bp (I don't have to bother at all about GoF lowering my hp) or demon bp (where it can actually make my charm tick). This is why I said that survivability wise, r9 is the best weapon to have GoF on. But most just look at dps, which is the most horrible indicator you can think off to compare weapons imo (An average of averages over an insignificant timeframe of 1 sec is completely meaningless from my point of view).

    Lmao since when did I ever need a squad lol.....One of these days imma learn to record video and I promise to bring it an show the forum how inferior rank 9 Is to Nirvana g13 at the +12 refine level when all alone soloing the bosses that need soloing for coin income. Fact is nirvana g13 is clearly better, even if it is slightly lower damage. The higher damage of rank 9 does not heal you more cause it is killing you at the same time. Sure I'm sitting at 14k hit points, but i don't intend to unrefine to lower it. I'm sharded nearly all Attack.
    nightspike spince tanso, swordtammer, nearly all the tt99 gold droping bosses are for sure easier with g13.

    No doubt all the guys seeking sac an god of frenzy are cash shopping pkers who don't farm 6 hours a day like me.

    Maybe different ppl have different priorities ? Why always label 1 thing as "the one best way" ? For me the 5% hp los is barely noticable, but I'm sage so that also factors in.

    And even if you are right, I don't think farming 6 hours a day is healthier then charging rl money b:laugh

    If my sin bumps up to r9 you can bet I'll be having my sage bp buffer in TT buffing as if it was just like our cleric/barb/bm. b:laugh

    I don't see your point. I didn't say "r9 is only good for sage". There are lots of demon sins with r9 perfectly happy with it, and not all in his "cashshop idiots" box. I just gave a situation where GoF doesn't hurt as much as in his specific case. Besides, going sage doesn't only relate to bp. GoF isn't a bad add, even for PvE farming. I know you think otherwise.

    The OP is just bashing on a weap cause he was so dumb to get something that doesn't correspond to his build, playstyle and priorities. Shouldn't blame the tool for making a bad decision. G13 is a pure aps weapon, r9 is a dph weapon with a huge dispersion. Any idiot can tell they don't aim the same person (in terms of build and playstyle).
