New Word chat messages are too short.

I cannot even describe just one item that I want to sell. I link and when I want to say how much it will be for it, I ran out of space already.

Sure the Chinese have no problem with this because they have their pictographs which use less space than us. However it was really selfish of their part to only think about the Chinese writing system and not about our system, which is way more popular and requires more space.

Can you do something about this GMS? At least tell them this is unfair.

    wait, world chat messages are shorter somehow? Isn't this a good thing? Doesn't it cut down on the amount of spam messages that people can come up with in all the space we used to have? I don't know about the rest of you, but I kind of got tired of seeing some of the **** that showed up in the World Chat and Horn Messages on the Heavens Tear Server.

    I just used 30 characters in WC, with a link in it.

    Do it this way : type in what you want to say in full. Then link the (w/e you're selling) into the text somewhere. Seems if you link first, it cuts you off. So do that last.

    They didn't have to shorten the messages to combat spammers, just increase a telecoustic's cooldown time if that was the case ...

    WC is fine..if ppl gona spam they gona span even if they cn only write one word..i think that fac chat and squad chat should b longer..as well as messaging (not pm but the chat box)..most definitly fac chat..cuz thts whr u actually talk..n if someone was sayin something too long tht ppl didnt wana see..i doubt tht person wld b in the fac too long

    thats not exactly what I meant by spammers. I meant people who say things that are debasing of people by calling them horrible names, or insulting their characters. Basically trolls, flamers, etc... all present in World Chat. I should probably have been more accurate in my statement. Oh and before you say I should black list them. Have you tried black listing about 20% of the people who post on World Chat? There isn't enough space on the black list for all those people.
