Very simple solution to the Goons problem.

There are two problems that people want to solve.
1. Selling of FC heads which knocks away the whole stack of midgame content thereby erasing FB, BH, low TTs, questing, and everything.
2. Selling of Goon FC which gets players to lvl105 in days.
To be honest, neither is a severe problem: what I think people are really concerned about is the fact that people who are new to the game and play F2P can't compete with the levelling rate of the people who can buy FC heads and glitched FC runs. It's difficult to afford 350K if you're new.
So the first thing would be to balance off the leveling rate by preventing anyone under lvl80 from entering FC, and have the Glacix Dragoons' EXP nerfed, as in the new patch. This way, lvl80+ players are forced to level with the "normal" FC runs.
Next, due to the slackness of the adminstration and devs, etc, we now have a large number of players at lvl104 and lvl105; Assassins are the focus group here since this very greatly affects their gameplay. You cannot determine which players got to Lvl105 by glitching and which ones did it legitimately. I know one sin (only one though) who got to lvl104 without goons. He;s now 105 though, and I don;t know whether or not he did goons. But his effort up to 104 was definitely valid.
Therefore, a new FC special quest should be created for players above lvl100, much like the Caster Nirvana. For this special FC quest, the dragoon EXP is not nerfed. It's quite simple really. This way, nobody feels at a disadvantage at the low levels (1-80) because nobody else can buy heads since only lvl80+ can enter FC. And nobody lvl100+ can complain about dragoons being sold and feel disadvantaged because only lvl100+ can take the Goon un-nerfed quest, and you can very well create your own squad and run it for free.
Additional provisions could be inserted. For example, What if lvl100+ decide to begin selling FC to lvl80+? Then nobody would do FC80+ and things would end up the way they are now, and lvl80+ won't be able to level without paying for heads. That can be solved easily: Make sure that from the time somebody hits lvl100, they are unable enter FC without taking the lvl100+ quest, thereby blocking them from going in and clearing a lvl80+ FC to sell heads.
I think it's actually quite legitimate if we're allowed to power level with goons at lvl100+. Nobody really wants to spend weeks and weeks levelling. There's not reason to dissent to it anyway. It simply needs control and appropriate balancing. To those who would say, "It's a glitch, and exploitation is wrong no matter what", I say, it can be legitimized and controlled properly. This set of controls very smoothly alleviates the problem. I think it can be very painlessly made into a feature.

Or just remove hypers from FCC period. That way it's good exp for mid-levels, but you don't have everyone going to it because that's just stupid...Goons spawn should be removed as well because of how stupid it is to flood the halls of a 7x instance with stun mobs that only high levels with decent gear can handle. It shouldn't be a feature in the lowbie instance at all. Keep the low level instance with content for low levels...why can't we farm molds in FB69 with our 10x chars? Because our levels are too high for the instance. Same thing why there shouldn't be hypers in FCC.
If they make a new instance with Dragoon diarrhea for high levels, then that'd be fine.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.

I really don't think this is a valid solution: I did quests and BH up to lvl80, and then began levelling with Fc and hypers at lvl80 and upwards. I have absolutely zero interest in taking months to go from lvl80 to lvl100. FC with hypers gives EXP at a moderate rate which is acceptable enough, and I think it's a good thing.
Older players may feel that it's illegitimate, but really there are multiple games out there, and players really don't have the time to spend trying hard to get to lvl100 just to be able to do TW, which is really the whole point of playing this game. Also, after you hit lvl100, there is a LOT of farming work to be done which would take years to do, so knocking away the leveling part into about 6 months of leveling is a good thing. Then you can go about farming, or CSing for your endgame gear as you so desire.
The key point with my suggestion above however, is to make all people have to quest from lvl1-80, and revive BH, Crazy Stone, and midgame content. Not a bad idea.0 -

could care less about people sellign heads... dont' kow many that do. It's moreso the noobs who USE that to lvl adn don't know what the hell they're doing.
2. Selling of Goon FC which gets players to lvl105 in days.
this more to the point they're exploting a glitch, and getting away with it from the loks of things. Could care les about somone else's level.

And yet now that dragoons are nerfed tonight, our REGULAR FF runs are nerfed.... those 12 dragoons in the back or w/e was half a lvl for me last night. >.<

yes they can know, very easily. If they can look back and see what i typed in my guild 2 months ago and see me trashing a quest, then they can EASILY find out it took u only a WEEK or w/e to get 104-105 (that's what 12 BLLION exp?)....... ya....

Honestly what they SHOULD do is just leave this in and legal...... trying to get that much exp w/o glitching is just..... well ya i dont' want to spend 2 years to get ONE lvl. b:surrender

^agreed, but unless they DO make it legal.... it's a exploit and thinking it isn't is just plain idiocy.

no thanks, not spending ten years leveling 4 toons....

um, FF isnt' a 70's instance.... you can't even START it unless you're 85. Ya u get quests at 75, if your'e lucky to finish them b4 80 when most people go good for u but w/e. And if u can't handle dragoons stunning you shouldn't be in there rofl..... hell my last few random squads wiped the floor with all 12 or w/e of them at once.
If they make a new instance with Dragoon diarrhea for high levels, then that'd be fine.errrrrr

Remove hypers from bieng used while inside FC, not hypers in general is what she's saying, they can still be used in the open map, in that Phoenix Valley instance, and you can make Zhen parties to lvl. It wont take months to get to 100.I A lot of people0 -

God forbid you use your precious hyper time for than 30 seconds
Hey remember Mijis? no? ohh well they're training esoteric here, and grant you 1.5% more xp...yea you cant fxcking pause.
And no ones saying to remove them from the game, just from being used in Fc, you ever Zhened the pirates while hypered and with a miji for xp @ 70? Its a pretty decent alternative to FcI A lot of people0 -
First of all, I believe selling heads is indeed wrong. I great way to make money if you're R9, or a pro demon sin. But even with a few 100+ characters, I can't afford to buy heads like everyone else. It's a cheat with the system. They should only let 75+ people into the instance, because that's what level it takes to use the stone to teleport in anyways. And you'd still need someone level 85 to open it.
Second, dragoons are indeed a wonderful, delicious glitch given to us by one of our fellow players. People that whine and complain about people reaching 105 really fast, it's because we're good at this game. Dragoons are incredibly difficult to do effectively, and only the best people on the servers can master this glitch. So.. They get to 105 out of skill more so than just because of their gear. Getting even the proper squad together to try and attempt dragoons is difficult. Everyone pretty much has to be 100+ with R8 or Nirvana gear. You have to know your class, know your job, and get it done without messing up. Otherwise, it's a huge squad wipe.
My point to that whole huge paragraph, is that it's super hard to do. Of course people in their 90s can't do it. They shouldn't even bother attempting. Do BH and regular FC until 100 then go dragoon FC.
Another thing people don't know, is that it still takes a long time to get to 105 by doing dragoons. I'm at level 101, and only get maybe... 15-20% in an hour, hour and a half? You make it seem like people go from 1 to 105 in a week. Lolol. Also, as previously mentioned, you have to be the Goon Master to even get to 105 in a decent amount of time.
My last point I want to make, is that there's a leveling curve in the game you guys just don't see. Lol. You level up the normal way until 80, or oracle, then you use hypers for 80-100... Then you use goons. If it was 1x the WHOLE time, this game would suck and be dead. The game has got to grow somehow, and they've finally started adding end game content for us 100+s. So please don't whine and complain just because you can't get there fast enough like the cash shoppers, or the merchants with loads of cash. Keep at it and enjoy the game, or quit. Those are really your only options.0 -
Just revert fcc to the way it was before, and for all that is holy, remove those damned hypers from the game.0

My argument isn't with the glitch itself, its what the GM/Admins have ruled on how its a bannable offense, yet they don't do anything about it.
Giving them a scathing critique equals in a ban, as what others have done in the past.b:chuckle[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
